LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: As the 95th Academy Awards is right around the corner let's talk about the film that won Best Animated Feature at the 91st Academy Awards, 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse'. The movie blew everyone's mind by introducing so many spidey sense superheroes to the audience. It grossed 384.3 million dollars worldwide against a 90 million dollar budget. That is not all, it received widespread acclaim from critics for its animation, characters, story, musical score, voice acting, and humor. However, it's been 6 years since then, and now, Columbia and Sony Pictures Animation have got you the much-awaited sequel, 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse'.  A teaser image from 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse' gives a chaotic look at the much-anticipated sequel's heroes and villains having an intense face-off. 

But before we jump into the details of it, let's introduce you to the star-studded cast: Shameik Moore voices Miles, starring alongside Hailee Steinfeld, Jake Johnson, Issa Rae, Daniel Kaluuya, Jason Schwartzman, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Vélez, Greta Lee, Rachel Dratch, Jorma Taccone, Shea Whigham, and lastly, Oscar Isaac. Additionally, the upcoming computer-animated superhero film is helmed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson (in their feature directorial debuts).

This June, fans of the Spider-Verse will get to dive into the world again with the release of 'Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse,' but this time, the scope will be bigger with the introduction of new Spider-Folks and new dimensions, and thanks to an exclusive image from Empire, we now have a look at one of those dimensions. The still shows a fight in Mumbattan, the home of Pavitar Prabhakar/Spider-Man India, and sees its native web-slinger battling the Spot alongside spider heroes Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy. Some of the other Spidey variants to expect from 'Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse' are Spider-Man Manga, Amazing Bag-Man, Spider-Woman, and Spider-Man Unlimited.

'Cinema at its fineness'

After the pictures surfaced online, fans officially lost their calm. A fan said, "Super excited to see Spider Man India and how they explore his universe! Plus Spot looks so cool in this." A fan commented, "This is going to be the greatest movie of all time," while another added, "this is the greatest "new look" ever no joke." A fan tweeted, "This movie's going to be cinema at its fineness," while another shared, "Excited to witness cinema." Safe to assume fans are psyched for this project. However, 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse' is scheduled for release on June 2, 2023, in theaters near you. Furthermore,  a third film, 'Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse,' is scheduled for release on March 29, 2024, while a female-focused spin-off film is also in development.
