‘Gorilla Glue Girl’ Tessica Brown's makeover: Here's how Below Zero salon changed Lousiana mom's hairstyle
'Gorilla Glue girl' Tessica Brown finally had a normal hair day. The Louisiana woman who went viral on the Internet after applying heavy-duty adhesive on her hair and landing up in the emergency room got her first new hairstyle since having the gluey mess surgically cleared up last week.
Sources close to Tessica told TMZ that she visited a barbershop on Valentine's Day morning to get her hair trimmed and styled after the procedure last week to remove the glue from her scalp. They said that she went to the Below Zero shop in Violet, Louisiana to see a barber she knows and he gave her the cut for free after everything's she's gone through. Another source told TMZ that she received hundreds of hair products for free as well -- including more got2b glued -- so she that she never chooses to go for Gorilla Glue again.

Tessica's received a great amount of support ever since she announced on TikTok that she'd made a terrible choice a month ago to substitute her normal got2b glued hairspray with Gorilla Glue Adhesive Spray.
On February 4, 2021, she posted a video explaining how she got into this position in the first place. "Hey, y'all. For those of you that know me know that my hair has been like this for about a month now. It's not by choice. No, it's not by choice. When I do my hair, I like to finish it off with a little Got2b Glued Spray, you know, just to keep it in place. Well, I didn't have any more Got2b Glued Spray, so I used this: Gorilla Glue spray. Bad, bad, bad idea." Just like a Twitter user pointed out: "This woman put gorilla glue in her hair and now it's stuck in this one style."

Tessica then uploaded more videos including one where she washed her hair to show that it doesn’t do anything. She also said that she put coconut and tea tree oil on her hair and still hasn’t seen any positive results.
Later, she made a GoFundMe page to undergo the surgery to make her hair normal. The page raised $23,799 of $1,500 goal. Later, she donated $20K of the GFM amount to a reconstructive surgery organization called Restore Foundation. The group supports people who go through similar issues or require expensive surgery which they can't afford. The non-profit organization is headed by Los Angeles-based plastic surgeon, Dr Michael Obeng, who also successfully performed the miracle hair restoration for Tessica.
Tessica has six children and her sons Quis and Big Blitz, have their own YouTube channel, Youngt9to Blitzem, with 1.38k subscribers. She often posts pictures with her partners and family members. With this, the 'Gorilla Glue Girl' chapter has seemingly come to an end.
