The master chef is back with the third season of his popular show, 'Gordon Ramsay's 24 Hours to Hell and Back', where he is revamping failing restaurants, one city at a time. The new season opened with Ramsay heading to Lowery’s Seafood Restaurant in Tappahannock, Virginia.

Opened in 1938, the local eatery has been serving the town for 81 years and has been seeing loyal patrons for decades. But for the last 10 years, Lowery’s has failed to keep up with its reputation as the town’s best.

To find out why, Ramsay heads there in disguise, with a team of senior adults who have been old regulars but stopped going. He soon discovers the major factors that are sabotaging the business: Unhappy staff, unhygienic kitchen, substandard and low food quality, and a family feud between the owner brothers causing a lack of leadership.

This comes across as highly disturbing to fans who think that the brothers, David and Duby are squandering a great opportunity to run a classic, family-owned business in times like today. Some feel that the brothers are not passionate at all about the business, just like Lowery’s staff feels.

One fan commented, “Passion involves caring about your workers, which includes PAYING them. #24HoursFOX”

Another fan, who was appalled by the restaurant’s kitchen conditions, wrote, “#24HoursFOX nasty! That kitchen is horrid. Says a lot about the ownership and how much they care about customers and the business itself.”

A fan, who felt bad about David and Duby not working as a team, said, “Why don’t family members who don’t want to work in the family business just say they want to do something else. Why destroy the business? #24HoursFOX” Another fan agreed with her, saying, “This dude truly doesn’t care about the restaurant. it’s actually sad. #24HoursFOX."

One fan was surprised that the staff cares more about the business than the owners do: “#24HoursFOX its a shame that his front of house staff cares, and back of house doesnt!”

As Ramsay and his rescue team continue to work on reinventing Lowery’s and bring it back on the town’s dining map, let’s see how the brothers buckle up and put their differences aside and become the leaders the restaurant needs to retain its brand image!

Watch ‘Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell And Back’ every Tuesday at 9 pm, only on Fox.
