'Good Girls' Season 4 Episode 2: How was Beth's date with Fitzpatrick? The night turns into a bloody affair
Most women may find it romantic when their dinner date insists that their dinner is made to perfection. But on 'Good Girls', hitman Mr Fitzpatrick (Andrew McCarthy) takes this to a whole new 'serial killer' level, as the girls describe it.
Mr Fitzpatrick, as we saw from Season 4 Episode 1, has made it clear that he has romantic feelings for Beth (Christina Hendricks). Feelings that are distracting him from doing the job that Beth and the girls have hired him for — getting rid of gang leader Rio (Manny Montana).
Beth tries to speed up Mr Fitzpatrick's process by agreeing to go to dinner with him. It's the need of the hour since now Rio is putting additional pressure on her and wants to move around some funds of his by transferring them to Beth's account. He is starting to feel the heat for Lucy's murder. A furious Beth says that she is feeling the heat herself, especially since she now has reason to believe that her money laundering business at 'Boland Bubbles' is getting noticed.

Beth finds dinner with Mr Fitzpatrick complicated. While Mr Fitzpatrick is treating this as a romantic dinner date, encouraging Beth to try new foods (radishes, if you must know) and attempting to get to know the woman behind the seemingly perfect exterior, Beth is simply keen on getting the job done.
Mr Fitzpatrick, undeterred, asks Beth why she is just playing with her food and not eating it. She then says that the salmon she ordered is a bit rare but it's not a problem. Mr Fitzpatrick reminds her that she asked for the salmon to be well done. Beth repeats that it's really not a problem.
Fitzaptrick, however, picks up her plate and storms off to the kitchen. All is silent for a while and Beth wonders what is taking so long. She then goes to the kitchen to ask what is happening and she is greeted with the sight of Fitzpatrick's bandaged bleeding hand and the chef's bashed-in bleeding face. Fitzpatrick explains that the chef is preparing a fresh plate of salmon for her but he looks terrified. The date ends on a rather bloody note.
Now the question of whether this incident brings Fitzpatrick any closer to finishing the hit job on Rio or not, we're just going to have to wait and find out. But one thing is for sure, Fitzpatrick will go to great lengths to keep Beth happy.
