Spoilers for 'Good Girls' Season 3 Episode 8 'NANA'

Tonight was the night when the entire 'Good Girls' fandom thought everyone's favorite, problematic love-hate riddled toxic couple Beth and Rio were 'going to bone'. Episode 8 of Season 3 titled 'NANA' got real close to what fans expected would be steamy sex in a public washroom type of reunion for the duo better known as Brio, but in the end, all they got was an upset Dean trying to defend himself for getting mad at Beth, for dressing up to talk a deal with her former flame Rio.

While admitting that they were in fact clowns for hoping that Beth and Rio would do the do in this episode, they also couldn't stop themselves for shaming Dean for whatever he has been doing.

The episode saw Beth trying to win back Rio's trust and get into his good books, and as her little sister Annie claimed, she has already boned him, what more does she need to do right? Well, fans can dream that Beth saying she was going to flirt her way back to gain Rio's trust meant some much needed and highly awaited sexy time between the two, but that didn't happen.

In fact, Rio cut Beth short and assigned her a task to accomplish before giving her the 12% commission. And all of this came with the price of a blatantly upset Dean who couldn't seem to get over how well his wife dressed up to 'get their lives back' from an old flame that he knows is definitely not a closed chapter.

So fans did what they do best and took it to social media to voice how much of a clown they felt for hoping that maybe tonight was the night. "Can't believe I really thought beth and Rio would bone tonight," shared a fan on Twitter. The reason was explained by another, citing: "Rio looked like he was trying hard to control himself around Beth.. give me da sex!" This referred to the moment Beth showed up at the pub where she was meeting Rio, and the mastermind was evidently taken aback by how gorgeous she looked. Well, she did put on her best makeup and a beyond flattering dressed to 'flirt' her way up to the top, so in his defense, he's just a possibly lovestruck man."

As a fan pointed out, "the way rio looks at beth should be ILLEGAL," and considering "We’ve already established Rio is not going to hurt/kill Beth, can they pls have hate sex?" Makes sense, just might as well get to the point right? After all, "Beth and Rio stay wanting to kill each other that at this point it’s foreplay." But of course, fans were left feeling deprived for hoping so much from tonight's episode, and those lost in despair shared, "I'm sorry but is anything ever going to happen between Rio and beth soon because I really want them to, please."

That's a unanimous sentiment throughout the fandom that has also been left a little aggravated because of all the focus Dean got. Since the beginning of the season, Rio killing Beth has been a speculative possibility, but now that its more than evident he's not going to, and after tonight's episode revealed that Beth doesn't need to kill Rio either, fans just want the show to get to the good part and chuck Dean out of the scene.

"Now beth knows damn well she doesn’t want to kill Rio. Can we get back to banking on their incredible chemistry instead of being force-fed dean?" shared a fan on Twitter, while another wrote: "They need to give up on the Beth/Dean thing. She f*cked Rio while on a date with Dean and again in their bed after he beat his ass and shot you.

There's no going back after that," The reason behind all this hate being shoved at Dean is pretty solid too, as a fan explained, "Dean constantly acts like he was this nice, loving husband before Beth met Rio. He's part of the reason Beth met Rio."

Here's hoping the writers bless these fans soon with some raunchy Brio sexy times.

'Good Girls' Season 3 airs on Sundays at 9 pm only on NBC.
