'Good Girls' Season 3 Episode 7: Beth trying to seduce Dean is 'making quarantine more difficult', say fans

On Episode 7 of 'Good Girls' we saw Beth Boland once again do whatever she wants, ignoring any voice of reason coming at her. Despite her several mistakes, Beth also ended up doing something that has the fandom cringing more than ever, with them complaining "as if this quarantine wasn’t painful enough."
Titled 'Vegas Baby', Episode 7 of Season 3 sees Beth in the shower, looking at her reflection in the mirror, probably reflecting on her own appeal. In an attempt to feel desirable, she walks out of the shower wearing nothing but a silk robe and tries to seduce her husband Dean into joining her in the shower. She tries beating around the bush before saying it out loud, asking Dean if he would like to take a shower with her. Dean, unfortunately, is fixated with their new pet-canary, Dorito. So much, that he unconsciously deflects Beth's advances, before totally blowing her off with how invested he happens to be in the bird and what happened at the vet.
This has irked fans so hard that half of them were left cringing at the scene, with the other half noting how unrealistic it all is that Dean could resist Beth. Taking it to Twitter, some fans even noted that this is making the current situation of self-quarantine and social distancing amidst the coronavirus lockdown "more difficult than it already is." A fan tweeted: "Dear god WHY is Beth tryna seduce Dean as if this quarantine wasn’t painful enough." Another just straight up said: "Beth stop trying to seduce Dean. I hate to see it." A third fan admitted: "Cringing at Beth trying to seduce Dean. What the hell is going on!?"
Other fans couldn't believe that Dean could resist Beth at all. "The most unrealistic part of #GoodGirls? Dean resisting Beth. Makes less sense than Maxi Pad’s 'Mrs Boland Board'." And one of them even imagined Rio's reaction at this mess of a situation, tweeting: "I know Rio somewhere laughing at Beth and Dean." For other fans, it gave rise to a sheer sense of spite for Dean and all the many ways he messes everything up for the titular ladies. Noting how similar he is to Lucy's boyfriend Max, a fan wrote: "Max is basically what Dean would be if Dean was an innocent bystander and victim in this whole situation and not a lying, cheating, clueless narcissist."
'Good Girls' Season 3 airs on Sundays at 10 pm only on NBC.
