Spoiler alert for 'Good Girls' Season 3 Episode 4 'The Eye In Survivor'

In this week's episode of 'Good Girls' on NBC, Beth Boland's (Christina Hendricks) past comes back to haunt her after Rio (Manny Montana) asks her for a hundred grand so that she can be spared by him for shooting him in the last season.

Beth, her younger sister, Annie Marks (Mae Whitman), and Ruby Hill (Retta) try their best to find a way to come up with the money, it is Ruby who gets an idea while in an icky bar restroom. She steals a hockey jersey she spies, assuming that the girls will get enough to cover what Beth has to give Rio by pawning off the jersey.

An unfortunate spill of chicken wings occur, but Beth is able to get the stain off. However, when the girls go to the pawnshop, they are told they won't get much for the jersey, seeing as it was a fake.

In another twist, Ruby spots the fountain pen that was stolen at the pawnshop — the one her husband, Stan (Reno Wilson), thought their daughter had stolen. When speaking to the pawnshop salesman, she realizes that her husband's suspicions were right.

Fans loved that Beth was the one to take the risk in this episode and showed their appreciation for it. A fan tweeted, "Ruby took one for the team walking into the men's bathroom & stealing the jersey #GoodGirls." Another wrote, "I love that Ruby had the idea this time! #GoodGirls."

Fans also sympathized with Ruby when her plan did not end well. A fan wrote, "She's the least criminal of them all. So she's not a great thief. It's fine. LEAVE RUBY ALONE! #GoodGirls." Another tweeted, "Ruby went through a lot to steal that jersey #GoodGirls."

Fans did not like that Stan and Ruby were fighting over their daughter and having problems and wanted the show to leave the couple alone. A fan tweeted, "STOP TOUCHING RUBY AND STAN. LEAVE THEM ALONE. GIVE THEM A BREAK. #GoodGirls," while another wrote, "Stan never going to let Ruby forget all the stuff she’s done & he such a scaredy-cat #GoodGirls."

'Good Girls' airs on Sunday nights at 9/8c on NBC.
