'Good Girls' season 3 will give Beth, Ruby and Annie a new partner, but she has no interest in being a 'good girl'

Beth, who now has a taste for crime, finds nothing enticing about the boring life of a mother-of-four, whose life revolves around PTA meetings, parties, baking, cooking, and maybe even selling cars.

Life has given Beth Boland (Christina Hendricks), Ruby Hill (Retta), and Annie Marks (Mae Whitman) of NBC’s ‘Good Girls’ many lucky breaks and unlikely guardian angels since they began their life in crime. Last season, especially, we saw all three of them hit their individual rock bottoms, but still, rise up to fix their problems.

Season 2, in fact, had ended with Beth unwittingly shooting Rio (Manny Montana) dead – but is he really? - and FBI Agent Jimmy Turner (James Lesure) giving her the opportunity for a clean slate. Yes, the very Agent Turner who was looking for every opportunity to lock Beth up, asked her to leave so that he can figure out what to do.

However, he did not say goodbye to Beth before giving her a warning, though, which essentially came down to, don’t give me a reason to come back. Anyone smart would take this win and get back to life as she knew it before she decided to rob a grocery store with her BFF and little sister. However, not Beth.

Beth, who now has a taste for crime, finds nothing enticing about going back to the boring life of a mother-of-four, whose life revolves around PTA meetings, parties, baking, cooking, and maybe even selling cars. She wants to head right back into counterfeit money scheme, as she told Ruby and Annie, even if it means putting not only her life but also that of her family at risk.

Not only does she have a plan on how to go about the criminal life, but she also has a new partner in mind – a partner who will be introduced in season 3 of ‘Good Girls.’ While her current partners looked shocked that she wants to continue with bending the rules, and cheating the system, it is only a matter of time before they are convinced, because Annie is all for quick money scams, and Ruby is not all that hard to convince, especially if Beth is doing the convincing.

From show creator Jenna Bans’s interview with TV Line, all we know at this point is that the new member will be a graphic designer and potentially another suburban mom. “Annie, Beth, and Ruby will definitely need and seek out the expertise of a graphic designer,” she said adding how this person “might also be a suburban mom with a questionable background and has no interest in being a ‘good’ girl.”

We can’t wait to meet her, come season 3.
