Generosity or saving face?: Angry 'RHOBH' fans slam Diana Jenkins' $100K donation to Tom and Erika Girardi's victims

BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: New housewife Diana Jenkins is sparing no expense to portray her co-star Garcelle Beauvais as the "villain" of 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills'. Since the past season Garcelle and Sutton Stracke have constantly called out Erika Jayne for her alleged role in her ex-husband Tom Girardi's money embezzling case from the victims of air crash. 

While Garcelle and Sutton are busy attempting to hold Erika accountable, Diana decided to use the opportunity to not only throw shade at her co-stars but also portray herself as a generous person. So, ahead of episode 17's release, Diana took to her Instagram to announce that she was donating $100K to the air crash victims and their immediate family members.

Just as 'RHOBH' fans were beginning to change their perception of Diana based on her sudden generosity, the episode released and fans went back to hating on her. The recently aired episode featured, Garcelle and Crystal Minkoff attempting to explain to Erika on how her returning the $750K earrings gifted to her by Tom using the victims' money is the right thing for her to do. Erika not only refused to entertain the idea of handing back the earrings but also dubbed the victims as 'potential victims'. While Erika's friends Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, and Dorit Kemsley watched their friend spiralling in horror, Diana shockingly had a very different response to the situation. 

In her confessional, the housewife declared that if her co-stars were so concerned about the victims then they should donate their own money to help the victims out. "Put your money where your mouth is", declared Diana. So, after watching the episode and getting the context behind Diana's sudden donation, 'RHOBH' fans took to Twitter to call her out. While questioning Diana's logic of 'RHOBH' ladies donating to the victims as a sign of their concerns, fans also wondered if it was her attempt to "save face" ahead of the upcoming reunion.

A fan tweeted, "So all of a sudden Diana donates 100K to the alleged Tom Girardi’s victims. How convenient, girl please you’re just trying to save face. If you’re so “concerned”over the victims then why not donate money to cover all their losses, considering you say you’re mega rich #RHOBH #bye." "It astounds me how anyone could think anyone OTHER than the people who benefited from the plane victims settlement, should donate/ pay it back!!! #RHOBH WHERE IS THE ACCOUNTABILITY?? Diana is dumb as hell and grasping at straws trying to make herself look better," wrote a fan. "So Diana thinks the other women should donate to the victims if they care so much….but no words for Erika whose lifestyle was funded with the victims’ settlement money??? #RHOBH," commented a fan.

Another fan shared, "So Diana's response to Erika not giving up the earrings she got from stolen money is for everyone to leave Erika alone and donate to the victims themselves. And that's why she posted her receipt of donating to the victims. Girl what that's not gone stop the lawsuits #RHOBH." "That explains Diana’s donation AND press about it. How timely.
