‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Would Lulu have said 'yes' to Dustin's proposal had he not died?

Fans of the soap opera were upset that Lulu wasn't with Dustin when he had passed, others wanted her to be with Dante Falconeri

In the last episode of 'General Hospital', there were two heartbreaking deaths - Dustin Phillips's (Mark Lawson) and Dev Cerci's (Ashton Arbab). In the upcoming episode of the soap opera, expect to see Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) suspecting that she's not being told everything while Julian Jerome (William DeVry) pays his sister Ava a visit, wanting to ask her a favor. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) meanwhile tries her best to help Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) cope with deal with Dev’s death and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) goes to look for her Uncle Mac. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) also helped Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) through a nightmare that has him dream his own death. Most importantly though, Dustin's sudden death allows us to wonder if Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) would have said yes to his proposal? “If Dustin had survived, were you gonna say yes?” Maxie asks Lulu. 

Fans of the soap opera were upset that Lulu wasn't with Dustin when he had passed, others wanted her to be with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). Granted that Lulu is expected to be emotionally wrecked after Dustin's death, but Lulu most likely would have said no to Dustin's proposal considering she's still in love with Dante; we're expecting some major guilt on this. She would have said no, had the explosion not happened, but now knowing that Dustin is dead, she would have said yes had he recovered. Not to mention, Lulu did sustain a head injury, so will she be okay or does she have a hematoma that she doesn't know about? 

Viewers were deeply upset though, as one fan said. "#GH Lulu she wasn't there when Dustin died, that got VERY personal for me and Emme NAILED it. Emme and Devry went DEEP, bravo to BOTH". Others had a completely different idea adding, "I’m kind of annoyed that they killed Dustin off before Lulu could officially choose Dante over him… #GH"

Even though some fans are upset that Dustin had died, others are hoping that her romance with Dante could grow. One fan added. "Sorry about Dustin but please reunite #Lante #GH #GeneralHospital Can Lulu and Dante just leave together". Some fans are even speculating that Lulu would leave after Dustin's death, writing, "Lulu is going to leave town she wouldn’t want herself to be with Dante yet cause of Dustin dying and he wanted to be with her forever "
