'She will bloom in heaven’: Gabby Petito’s dad joins Internet in outpouring of love on her 23rd birthday

Gabby was reported missing on September 11, 10 days after her fiancé Brian Laundrie returned to their home in North Port, Florida

Gabby Petito died a tragic death after she went missing in September last year but that did not stop social media users to remember her on what would have been her 23rd birthday. Many took to Twitter with heartfelt wishes while getting all emotional. Gabby Petito’s father Joseph Petito too took to Twitter to wish her late daughter a very happy birthday by sharing a stunning photo of a sunset.
 
Gabby Petito’s father also shared another picture where he enjoyed a scrumptious mean with family and friends at ‘#Gabbysbench’ in order to celebrate her birthday. For the unversed, a bench in North Port, Florida was installed last November as a tribute to the late travel vlogger. The bench is surrounded by colorful steel butterflies and has a plaque in the center that reads, “In Memory of Gabby Petito.” Joseph Petito had played a vital role in locating Gabby’s body in Wyoming national park last September.

Internet sends love to Gabby Petito on 23rd birthday

Gabby Petito’s father on early Saturday shared the photo from Gabby’s bench in North Port, Florida saying, “Having lunch at #gabbysbench with some family and friends. #GABBYPETITO #happybirthday”. A few hours later he decided to share a picture of a sunset over the Gulf of Mexico saying, “Going to watch the sunset and reminisce about the last sunset we saw together from here. #memories #GABBYPETITO.”  Gabby Petito's family has transformed the social media accounts dedicated to finding their daughter into a platform to raise awareness about other missing people.
 
The body of the travel vlogger was discovered in Wyoming on September 19 days after she went missing, and the coroner determined that she died of strangulation. Gabby was reported missing on September 11 i.e.10 days after her fiancé Brian Laundrie returned to their home in North Port, Florida, without her. Gabby’s parents have accused Brian of murdering their daughter. Brian’s remains were also found in October 2021, months after the search for Gabby began. In January 2022, the FBI closed the case confirming Brian confessed to killing Gabby in his notebook, found alongside his remains. It seemed like the end of the story for both families, but apparently, Gabby's parents are still seeking justice for their daughter.

Social media users poured their heart out while wishing the late Gabby Petito on her 23rd birthday. “Gabby happy bday. I hope you find your justice soon. You and your family deserve to have some peace which includes BL's parents hopefully/finally telling the truth about what happened soon even though they don't have to, its the right thing to do and they know that, they have to”, said one user as another posted, “Happy Birthday Gabby. You light will still shine bright forever, it will never fade.” Another shared, “Happy birthday in heaven Gabby.. you were an amazing bright spirited person, a lot of us didn’t know you but we miss you. Love you Gabby.”
 
Meanwhile, one user tweeted, “Happy Birthday in heaven Gabby Petito may the light you gave the world always be remembered.” The next one added, “Happy heavenly birthday Gabby. The gift we give to you is all the lives you are changing with your Foundation! You live on in every women and man whose lives are transformed because of you!  We love you!” One user posted, “Happy birthday Gabby thank you for changing the world beautiful.” And, another shared, “Happy heavenly birthday to Gabby, she just came to bud on earth and she will bloom in heaven.” While, one concluded, “Happy birthday beautiful. You shine brightly still though you are not physically with us . My heart goes out to your parents and your brothers and sisters . Fly high with the angels . God bless.”
