NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE: The manifesto written by trans Nashville Catholic school shooter Audrey Hale has been leaked, shedding light on her intention to kill "white privileged" kids before being immobilized by the authorities.

The document has notably been kept private since the March 27 shooting which according to authorities claimed six lives, including three students. Despite multiple media requests, Nashville PD has not released it and the issue has now become the subject of a lawsuit.

Audrey Hale's manifesto leaked

Photographs of the documents were made public by controversial podcast host Steven Crowder on Monday, November 6. He said the images were obtained from a detective at the scene.

Speaking to Fox 17, law enforcement sources confirmed that the documents were authentic. Freddie O'Connell, the new mayor of Nashville, expressed concern and directed the city's top attorney to launch an investigation into the leaked photos.

According to the Daily Mail, Hale's parents did not know if they were real and said they hadn't seen the manifesto before.

The leaked pages show Hale's plan for the fateful day, beginning with breakfast and lunch at home and concluding with a 10-minute "final video" that is yet to be made public.

While firearms advocates and police unions supported the release of the manifesto, the school and parents of the victims involved argued against it citing potential copycats and to allow for closure.

David Raybin, a lawyer representing Hale's parents, said they hadn't seen the documents before. Nonetheless, an inquiry has been launched by the Metro Nashville Police Department.

"The MNPD is in communication with the Metropolitan Department of Law as an investigation, begun this morning, continues into the dissemination of three photographs of writings during an online discussion about Covenant School," a statement read.

"The photographs are not MNPD crime scene images. The police department has been in contact with a representative of Covenant families. Police department counselors are available to assist them in coping with the emotional trauma caused by the dissemination," the authorities added.

Hale wrote in one entry titled 'Death Day' on the day of the attack, "Today is the day. The day has finally come. I can't believe it's here. Don't know how I was able to get this far but here I am. I'm a little nervous but excited too, been excited for the past two weeks."

The shooter alarmingly noted that there were "several times" she "could have been caught," but "none of that matters now. I'm almost an hour and 7 minutes away. Can't believe I'm doing this but I'm ready... I hope my victims aren't," she wrote.

"My only fear is if anything goes wrong. I'll do my best to prevent any of the sort. God let my wrath take over my anxiety. It might be 10 minutes tops. It might be 3-7. It's gonna go quick. I hope I have a high death count. Ready to die," Hale added.

Mayor's response to Audrey Hale manifesto leak

Mayor O'Connell confirmed on Monday that an investigation into the leaks had been initiated.

"I have directed Wally Dietz, Metro's Law Director, to initiate an investigation into how these images could have been released," he said.

"That investigation may involve local, state, and federal authorities. I am deeply concerned with the safety, security, and well-being of the Covenant families and all Nashvillians who are grieving."

"This incident naturally invokes additional emotional trauma, and families or individuals who need support should reach out to professionals at the National Alliance on Mental Illness (615-891-4724), MNPD support counselors (615-862-7773) or MNPS Family Information Center (615-259-INFO)," the mayor added.

Dietz said he wasn't able to officially confirm their authenticity and was still investigating.

"At this time we have limited information about this possible leak of documents related to the tragic shooting at Covenant School. I cannot confirm or deny the authenticity of the documents due to the existing lawsuit," he said.

"At the request of the Mayor, I am initiating a full investigation with multiple law enforcement agencies to determine exactly what happened."

Another entry by Hale on February 3, more than a month before the shooting, read, "Kill those kids!!! Those cr***rs going to private fancy schools with those fancy kwakis and sports backpacks. With their money daddies mustangs and convertables [sic]. F**k you little s**ts. I wish to shoot you weaka** d**ks with your mop yellow hair, wanna kill all you little cr*****s!!! Bunch of little f****ts with your white privalages [sic]. F**k you f****ts."

Hale had her day planned out by the minute - She would wake up at 6.30 am, get ready by 7.05 am, and spend time with her possessions till 8.55 am.

However, she ended up at the school a lot earlier. Fourteen minutes after first entering the premises and wreaking havoc, she was shot dead by police at 10.25 am.

It's worth noting that Hale was herself an alumna of The Covenant School.

Media outlets have been actively campaigning for transparency, asserting the importance of finding a balance between public interest and the potential risks associated with releasing such records.

Social media reacts to Audrey Hale manifesto

Social media was inundated with a barrage of reactions following the leak of the disturbing manifesto.

"The Audrey Hale manifesto is so much worse than I could have imagined. This is a full-on race war. She targeted the children for being white," one posted on X.

"It’s horrific. Her words. Her anger. And no one noticed she was this off the rails?" another wondered.

"The authorities protected this because they didn't want trans people to look bad," someone else alleged.
