MANHATTAN, NEW YORK: The private lives of Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos have never been kept a secret. The pair had frequently faced accusations of "bragging" about their sex life by exposing too many details and stories. In the past, news about their extramarital exploits was limited to Instagram posts, infrequent interviews, and a few television appearances by Consuelos on his wife's morning program, 'Live with Kelly and Ryan'.
Ryan Seacrest, Ripa's longtime co-host, revealed on Thursday, February 16 that he will leave the program in the spring, making room for Mark, 51, to take over. Mark has been a guest host on several occasions over the years, and he is no newcomer to hosting together with his wife. Many of his on-air stints have been sleazy discussions about his and Ripa's shenanigans in the bedroom, reports Daily Mail.

'You're just fantastic but you gotta knock'
Throughout the years, Mark has appeared as a guest on his 52-year-old wife's shows a number of times, and the topic nearly always turns to their sex life. When their 21-year-old daughter Lola Consuelos moved back in with them, the pair revealed the somewhat unpleasant talk they had to share with her. They admitted that they had insisted her to "knock" whenever she entered a room in case her parents were having sex on the other side of the door. "Lola Consuelos, our daughter, came home, what was it last week? A week and a half ago? From London, and she's so excited to be living with us again because it's her last semester in college," stated the proud father.
The student had been studying overseas before finishing her degree as a senior in college. As Ripa remarked, "Because at this point, anything you walk in on, is your problem," she seemed to have been implying that their marital passion is still alive and well. Ripa added, "She's not going to go back to her apartment, she's staying with us. And you know what she does now? The door's closed in our bedroom, no knock, she just walks in and says, 'Hey girls!'"
Ripa continued, "And so I said, 'Lola, I don't want you to take this the wrong way. I'm very excited that you are home. We missed you. You are the heart of this family. You're so funny and you're just fantastic but you gotta knock.'" This information was revealed just days before Ripa told Seacrest that she and Mark always had to stay in hotels while on vacation because they get so "freaky" and can't stay in anybody else's house.
'Passed out after having sex'
In a fairly bizarre incident, Ripa shared in her 2022 book 'Living Wire: Long-Winded Short Stories' about a time when she "passed out" after having sex with her spouse while having ovarian cysts in a chapter titled 'Don't Let Your Husband Pick Your Death Clothes'. She penned, "My eyes shift between the fuzzy images on the screen, the remnants of my ovarian tormentor, and Mark happily snacking away." She added, "Sex can be so traumatic I think, and yet one of us is completely undaunted. There he is, happily munching on the saltines now and ordering a second apple juice. Mark could be at a movie, or a spa. Instead, I'm flat on my back wondering when the other two cysts will burst."
'He dressed me like a dime store prostitute in my time of need'
Ripa claimed that after collapsing, her husband dressed her in his clothes and drove her to the hospital. "Also, here is my husband, who is, dare I say, stylish, well-dressed at all times, and yet he dressed me like a dime store prostitute in my time of need," the TV icon said. "It's still baffling to me to this day that this is the best costume for the day that he could find for me, to the point where, when I was on the stretcher, I thought I was dreaming; I was having a nightmare. I didn't realize I had come to," she added, as reported by the Daily Mail. On Instagram, Ripa and Mark frequently share adoring tributes to one another along with some fairly suggestive photos that have drawn criticism for their obvious sexual content.

In one obscene post, the couple was shown on a vacation in the sun, but instead of focusing on their beautiful surroundings, Ripa was seen bending over toward the camera while her husband delightedly examined her derriere. 'I know how freaky Mark and I like to get'
When the talk show host revealed details about her private life with Mark on-air, fans were once again in disbelief. She discussed how "freaky" she and Mark become, which is expected to happen more frequently now that her partner will be taking Seacrest's place. While she was reading an article about Yolanda Vega, she remarked, "She travels a lot.
She stays at hotels. She prefers hotels to staying in someone's home, which I prefer also." "I always take the hotel option when it comes to like, 'stay with us.' I'm like, 'No, no, no. We'll get a hotel," Ripa added. She continued, "Because I know how freaky Mark and I like to get – same as you and hubbylish – so when given the stay-at-the-home option, I'm like, "No, you guys are not cut out for it." Nobody needs to know what goes on."
