HBO's psychological thriller series follows Camille Preaker (Amy Adams), an alcoholic journalist who has just been released from a mental facility.

Preaker returns to her hometown of Wind Gap, Missouri, which she desperately wishes to escape because of her past traumas.

Preaker is charged with solving the murder case involving two little girls in her hometown.

As the narrative progresses, Preaker must confront her own problems while discovering alarming truths about the victims and a possible link to her own past.

'Sharp Objects', much like 'Under the Bridge', deals with serious and uncomfortable themes of violence, abuse, and psychological trauma.

The true crime thriller 'The Act' on Hulu delves into the life of Gypsy Rose Blanchard and her catastrophic connection with her mother, Dee Dee.

The plot focuses on Gypsy Rose (Joey King), an apparently fragile young lady who uses a wheelchair owing to various diseases.

Her loving mother, Clauddine "Dee Dee" Blanchard (Patricia Arquette), provides painstaking care for her, eliciting compassion and support from their community.

However, as the story develops, Gypsy discovers unexpected details about her sickness that alter her perception of her identity.

The series, like 'Under the Bridge,' delves into intricate and ultimately destructive relationships, with the slow exposure of the truth behind the murders serving as a central theme in both stories.

The Society

Netflix's mystery teen drama bears many similarities with 'Under the Bridge' since both deal with teens.

The basic plotline of 'The Society' tells the tale of a group of youngsters who must learn to live when their town's adult population disappears. Faced with difficult realities, youth form their own norms and social order.

This leads to power battles and the formation of various groups. The series is a must-see if you like mystery thrillers with a strong emphasis on teenagers, just like 'Under the Bridge'.

The Killing

The crime drama is set in Seattle and follows the investigation into the disappearance of a young girl.

Detective Sarah Linden (Mireille Enos), who was about to leave the office, is called back to investigate the disappearance of Rosie Larsen (Katie Findlay).

The plot takes a dramatic turn when Rosie's body is discovered in the trunk of Darren Richmond (Billy Campbell), a prominent political candidate.

As the story progresses, Sarah and her investigative partner, Stephen Holder (Joel Kinnaman) work tirelessly to uncover the web of lies.

The series, like 'Under the Bridge,' delves into social issues, with investigation as its primary focus.

The four-season drama series follows the life of Veronica Mars (Kristen Bell), a seemingly typical high school student in the affluent town of Neptune, California.

Veronica's life takes a dramatic turn when her closest friend, Lilly Kane (Amanda Seyfried), is killed and her father is wrongfully implicated and ostracised by the town.

This occurrence serves as a trigger for Veronica's change, as she embarks on a mission to uncover the truth behind her friend's death and the truth behind her father's ostracization.
