'So You Think You Can Dance' Season 17: Fans surprised Keaton can dance despite 'buff body'

'So You Think You Can Dance' is one of those shows that fans look forward to eagerly as it showcases talent that they wouldn't find that easily otherwise. Every episode of the reality dance show is packed with skilled individuals who wow them with their performances and today was no different.

Currently in Season 17, a brand-new episode of 'So You Think You Can Dance' aired on May 25 and one performer seems to have got the fans talking. Keaton Kermode, a dancer from Indiana, took to the stage today and his performance has left fans with quite a bit to say. The audition impressed the judges enough to get all three of them to unanimously give him the nod to make it to the next round. Fans were also stunned by the grace and finesse in Keaton's performance despite him being buff due to his time as a footballer in school.

'So You Think You Can Dance' Season 17: Fans 'miss the old format, miss the old judges'

"This guy has a buff huge body like full on football player body and he’s a beautiful dancer I wasn’t expecting that #sytycd, a fan tweeted. Another seconded, tweeting, "If “don’t judge a book by it’s cover was a person, it would be Keaton. Wow! #SYTYCD".

"Keaton definitely wowed me and I can see him going far #SYTYCD," a fan opined. The tweets on his physique didn't seem to end and were on the likes of "Keaton is not built like a dancer AT ALL, but wow! #sytycd #soyouthinkyoucandance".

The judges also felt that he bore some resemblance to Patrick Swayze. This was picked up by a fan who tweeted "KEATON!!! This football playin country boy just went full Patrick Swayze but BETTER. The OH MY GOD that came out of my mouth was unreal. Holy shit. Matt said Swayze too #SYTYCD #SoYouThinkYouCanDance" while another shared, "Matthew looked like he was having an orgasm watching Keaton dancing #SYTYCD"
