Fox News' Sean Hannity slammed for reporting on James Comer's finding that Joe Biden received $200K from brother

NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer has claimed that his committee has discovered evidence suggesting that President Joe Biden received a "$200,000 direct payment" from his brother James Biden and sister-in-law Sara Biden in 2018.

Chairman Comer is now calling for the President to address questions regarding any "financial arrangements" he may have had with members of his family.

Following this event, Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X (formerly Twitter) to update more on what Comer revealed about the payment made to Biden back in 2018.

However, the internet brutally trolled Hannity for not doing “due diligence” on the cheque received by POTUS from his brother James.

Sean Hannity reports on Joe Biden receiving $200K from brother James

Fox News anchor Sean Hannity took to X and wrote, “Joe Biden is a criminal and now we have the proof."

Hannity’s tweet featured an article from his official website titled, “BIDEN BUCK$: Oversight Uncovers $200K Payment from James to Joe Biden [WATCH].”

The article highlights that Comer and his panel have uncovered a direct payment that James Biden made to POTUS in 2018.

Comer posted a video on X where he said, “Bank records obtained by the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability have revealed a $200,000 direct payment from James and Sara Biden to Joe Biden in the form of a personal check.”

He further pointed out that in 2018, James Biden “received $600,000 in loans from Americore- a financially distressed and failing rural hospital operator.”

“According to bankruptcy court documents, James Biden received these loans based upon representations that his last name Biden, could open doors; and that he could obtain a large investment from the Middle East based on his political connections,” Comer said.

Comer concluded, “On March 1, 2018, Americore wired a $200,000 loan into James and Sara Biden’s personal bank account—not their business bank account. And then, on the very same day, James Biden wrote a $200,000 check from this same personal bank account to Joe Biden.”

Soon after Sean Hannity tweeted about James Comer’s findings of Joe Biden receiving $200K from his brother James back in 2018, the internet quickly blasted the Fox News anchor as one person said, “Sean… you should consider retirement… quickly.”

Another rebuked Hannity adding, “I need real news,” and one said, "Shame on you Hannity. It’s a loan repayment from a family member in 2018 when - checks notes - yes, a private citizen.”

A person simply called out Hannity, “Do your due diligence Sean - payback of a personal loan - not criminal.  I'm guessing you've never lent anyone money and had them pay you back?”

Another wrote, “They didn't fire you yet? Someone should be very afraid,” and one commented, “Because his family gave him money? What the hell is wrong with you, for the of God get a life.”

“Because he got a check? You are epic levels of stupid,” said another.
