Fox News host Rachel Campos-Duffy is being slammed for trying to blame first lady Jill Biden for the Afghanistan crisis. On Sunday, August 22, Campos-Duffy targeted Dr Biden over the ongoing havoc that has been created inside the South Asian nation after the Taliban took over following US military's withdrawal.

The 49-year-old television personality said, “When you look at what's hurting America, when you look at this lack of leadership, and you wonder who are the people responsible for putting someone this incompetent and frankly this, you know, mentally frail in this position? And yes, of course, the media and many people are saying... Susan Rice and Obama and maybe Valerie Jarrett.”

Campos-Duffy went on to say, “I'm sorry, as a political spouse, I can't help but look at Jill Biden. No one knew better his state of mind than Dr Jill Biden,” before adding, “And if you ask me, the most patriotic thing Jill Biden could have done was tell her husband [Joe Biden] -- to love her husband and not let him run in this mental state that he's in. I think she failed the country as well.”

As soon as Campos-Duffy made this comment, people started criticizing her on the internet. A user tweeted, “Just a reminder: First Lady Jill Biden has done more for military families than all of Fox News together.” The second one wrote, “Nobody blamed Melania trump for her idiot husband inviting Taliban to Camp David, or his deal to release 5,000 Taliban fighters. Stop trying to blame Jill Biden for what's happening in Afghanistan.” “Fox News is blaming Jill Biden for allowing someone in her husbands ‘mental state’ to run for office. If that’s the case, it’s time to arrest Melania Trump for allowing a narcissistic, fascist, dictator wannabe fuck up our country for 4 years,” the third user stated.

Now Fox News is *actually* trying to blame First Lady Dr. Jill Biden for what's happening in Afghanistan. JFC. Excuse me while I hahahahaha.” “While Fox News is blaming Dr Jill Biden for something what has nothing to do with her.
