‘For Life’ Episode 11 Preview: Aaron reconsiders his actions as Cassius wreaks havoc in prison
The previous episode of ‘For Life’ turned out to be highly emotional as it gave us an insight into Aaron Wallace’s (Nicholas Pinnock) time in the prison. It was rather heartwrenching to watch how a mild-mannered and innocent man had to resort to extreme measures for mere survival amid dangerous criminals.
And, the upcoming episode titled ‘Switzerland’ is going to see more trouble ensue in Aaron’s life, as Cassius Dawkins (50 Cent) joins hands with the wrong set of people, which leads to more violence and chaos within the prison.
The official synopsis for Episode 11 reads, “Aaron bolsters his case with newfound information from Marie but finds himself torn between two worlds when Cassius suspects Aaron is a snitch and seeks retribution. Foster struggles to lay low during his last two weeks before retirement, but Safiya turns up the heat, confiscating religious texts to stop the drug trade”
The trailer gives a glimpse of a clash between Aaron and Cassius, as the latter uses his influence to turn the prisoners against one another and probably instigates a dispute by targeting fellow inmates' emotions, only to get back at Aaron.
It also sees Correction Officer Foster trying to remain low key ahead of his retirement, not getting involved in prison politics as Safiya Masry (Indira Varma) works her plans against him, following their latest encounter, which ended on a rough note.
The upcoming episode mostly teases the moment we’ve been waiting to witness ever since Cassius was transferred to Belmore. While we juggled between judging his morality and integrity, Episode 11 may help give us better clarity on his true intentions towards Aaron and the prison itself as he was sent here by Glen Maskins (Brosi McGiver).
Also, Cassius’s actions are going to determine Aaron’s fate as he is coming close to overturning the wrongful conviction after Marie Wallace (Joy Bryant) approaches him with new evidence to support his case.
It isn’t going to be an easy escape from the situation for Aaron as he’s gotten himself entangled in Cassius’s wrongdoings. We need to wait and watch if his determination and desperation for freedom will help him evade the threats his fellow inmate seems to pose.
‘For Life’ airs on Tuesdays on ABC.
