Finnegan Biden is Joe Biden's granddaughter and the daughter of Hunter Biden. Although she's mostly on the down-low studying as a senior at the University of Pennsylvania, Finnegan made headlines when her grandfather called her Beau on election day - Beau was Biden's late son. Most recently, Finnegan, 20, has been part of her grandfather's presidential campaign and has been active on her own campus over student issues. In fact, the Daily Mail reportedly called her a "fixture" on Biden's campaign trail. If Biden wins, Finnegan might have an important role to play in the White House.

Even though Biden has been the center of attention as the presidential candidate -- close to winning than Trump in the election -- Finnegan also had to see her father be the brunt of crude media coverage. From being accused of earning money in "shady deals" by the Trump administration to his father being asked on-air about DNA tests that proved Hunter had an illegitimate child with Arkansas stripper Lunden Alexis Roberts, Hunter have had a hard time during the campaigning. Through all this, Finnegan has managed to keep her cool, and as a senior at an Ivy league college, continues to be active at her campus.

Finnegan keeps a low profile with a private Instagram page but is very close to her family. She is one of the three children of Hunter Biden and Kathleen Buhle, and has an older sister named Naomi, 26, and a younger sister named Maisy, 19. Even though she has not been in the spotlight regardless of who her grandfather is, Finnegan has made it a point to support Biden in this race to the White House. According to a Daily Mail report, Finnegan was not only present at Biden's Philadephia rally but also was on the campaign trail with Biden during the primaries. She was also present at Iowa's Clarke University earlier this year, as well as the Nevada caucus event. During the Iowa rally, Biden said, "I would like to introduce you to my granddaughter Finnegan Biden. The reason I asked Finnegan — grandfathers are always allowed to embarrass their granddaughters — that goes along with the territory. Her other grandma graduated from Clarke College in the mid-'60s and talks about it all the time."

Finnegan supporting her grandfather during the campaign trail doesn't come as much of a surprise. The publication revealed that the 20-year-old has experience when it comes to fighting for change. In high school, Finnegan apparently fought to change her school's dress code, which she labeled as "discriminatory towards female students." She did so with a bold campaign that had girls at her school wearing T-shirts that read, "I am not a distraction." She told 34th street, "That was the first time I actually saw sincere impact [from] something I did because we got rid of the dress code and had a forum at our school about it." She also has experience when it comes to activism as she's been involved in that at the University of Pennsylvania. According to reports, the young woman petitioned the administration at the university to extend grading options.

With her passion for activism and wanting to make a change, Finnegan would be a great asset to the White House should her grandfather win the 2020 election. Not to mention, she's close friends with former President Obama's daughters Malia and Sasha who have experienced what it's like being in the spotlight. As the Daily Mail reported, could the bold, stylish, and socio-politically conscious Finnegan be Biden's secret weapon?
