Finn Wolfhard posts high school graduation photo, shocked fans can't believe he's all grown-up now
Finn Wolfhard, who is better known as Mike Wheeler from science fiction drama series 'Stranger Things' is officially grown up. The Vancouver-based Wolfhard is now a high school graduate. He shared a photo from his graduation ceremony, a selfie shot outside of what looks like his school building, on his Instagram page. The photo also featured his parents Mary Jolivet and Eric Wolfhard and his elder brother Nick.
Thanking his family and teachers for helping him study amid his busy schedule, Wolfhard wrote in a heartfelt caption, "Thanks to these people who kidnapped me at birth and raised me, and all the teachers who taught me in Vancouver and on the road in Atlanta and LA and Wicklow and NY (Marina and Dan and Eva and Leona and Scott and Phil and so many others), and last but not least, my classmates and teachers and admin at St Pats. I honestly could not have made it without you — and now let's all go do good things."
Congratulatory messages started to pour in shortly after Wolfhard posted the photo. "Congratulations! The class of 2020 certainly had an odd ending of school, but we made it! Can’t wait to see what the future brings," read a comment. Another follower wrote, "Congrats Finn!! Best wishes transitioning to the outside world and keep up the great work!!"
However, some of his followers were shocked and according to their comments, had no clue that Wolfhard was old enough to have graduated high school. A lot of them thought that the young actor was still 12, or 14 or 15 years at the most, and the comment section under his graduation photo was flooded with comments like, "HES AN ADULT NOW IM CRYING."
"I swear you were like 14 last week," wrote a follower while another commented, "bruh I thought he was still 14," and another asked, "how did this happen so soon?" Apart from being famous for being one of the leading cast on 'Stranger Things', Wolfhard is also a musician and part of the band Calpurnia. On the acting front, he will also be seen in the film 'Ghostbusters: Afterlife', the release of which is slated for next year.
