Spoilers for 'Filthy Rich' Episode 8

This episode titled 'James 4:1' was a fast-paced one and probably the best episode of the season. Three major things happened, and all of them happened at the end and we don't know why – this kept us at the edge of our seats. The series has already been canceled and not renewed for a second season, and now with just two more episodes left till the series ends, fans were all in when it came to the intense drama Episode 8 offered. We couldn't help but think that if the series had done an episode like this at the start, we might have had a Season 2.

Let's get to the quick yet shocking summary – Rose Monreaux (Aubrey Dollar) is pregnant and on her way to New York to undergo an abortion, the reporter tells Luke Taylor (Cranston Johnson) tells Eugene Monreeaux (Gerald McRaney) that his plane crash was set up by  Reverend Paul Luke Thomas (Aaron Lazar) and then ends being killed, Hagamond Sheen (Thomas Francis Murphy) hits a pregnant Becky Monreaux (Olivia Macklin) on the head leaving her bleeding, and then kidnaps Antonio Rivera's (Benjamin Levy Aguilar) son, Jesus. All of that was packed into a one-hour episode that also showcased Antonio winning his first fight, Mark/Jason Conley (Mark L. Young) beating up Rose's ex-fiance Brett, and Franklin Lee (Steve Harris) waiting on being loved back by Margaret.

Reading that was probably exhausting, but we have to say that the editing job was done very well considering it felt like all these stories were being brought to the audience simultaneously. The series being so close to the end, this was probably the best episode, if not, the best climax episode in the entire series so far. It didn't feel like too much even though almost every character had a bit of an arc, and it also set up a great foundation for the last two episodes coming up. We're learning more and more about what the1820 truly is, and what their intentions are with the Monreaux family. With Luke dead, it also makes us wonder if Eugene will expose that he is very much alive to his family who is under the impression that he's dead. That has been a question fans have been wanting to know the answer to a while now. Eugene, as a father and husband has now been oput in a position that will allow him to save his son Eric Monreaux (Corey Cott) and his wife, if he came out of hiding and exposed the dirty deeds of the 1820.

Since everything took a turn for the worst at the end of the episodes, fans were left with one of the best cliffhangers. While some raved about the episodes, others were upset they have to say goodbye to it soon.

Fans were really ecstatic about this episode as well, with one writing, "I AM TOTALLY FREAKED OUT!! This Episode of #FilthyRich was off the chain!! LOVED iT!! #FilthyRichFOX". Another fan wrote, "@FilthyRichFOX What do I ... uhhWe Need to do to help get this series continued... This is just too good of a series for not to fight for #FilthyRich to continue! WHAT do we do?! #FilthyRichFOX"

With only two more episodes left, we have so many questions we hope will be answered. Not to mention we're really hoping another network picks up the show.

Episode 9 airs on Monday, November 23, at 9 pm ET on FOX.
