'Filthy Rich' Episode 7: Will Franklin ditch Veronica for his true love Margaret after that passionate kiss?
Spoilers for 'Filthy Rich'
This episode of FOX's 'Filthy Rich' was filled with subtle drama with secrets unfolding as relationships start to grow. After Townes Dockerty (Carl Palmer) died in the previous episode, his widow Veronica (Gia Carides), who was sleeping with Franklin Lee (Steve Harris), now wanted to be with him. Franklin felt used and didn't take her up on it.
On the other hand, we know how much Franklin loves Margaret (Kim Cattrall), and in this episode, we finally got to see it. The entire episode, Margaret had been daydreaming of her younger days where both Franklin and her served the rich in the very same home that are in, in the present.
Back then, Franklin was in love with Margaret as well but her mother pushed her to be with Eugene, so she could make something of her life. Even though, Margaret did end up becoming a rich woman, and so did Franklin, he told her that he feels like he's still a servant in the home. Margaret and Franklin have a lot of history and we finally get to see how it would be like if they were together. She did tell him, "You are my everything!"
Fans were here for the love train for sure and the throwbacks of when Franklin and Margaret were young! "young margaret & young franklin [heart emoji] #FilthyRichFOX," tweeted one fan. Another added, "At last, Franklin and Margaret. #FilthyRichFOX." Yet another fan added, "This look at Franklin and Margaret's backstory explains so much. #FilthyRichFOX."

Franklin had always been there for Margaret, and now that he's convinced her to let her children leave the nest, she might be able to be with him. At the end of the episode we saw Margaret's daughter, Rose Monreaux (Aubrey Dollar), tell her mother that not only is she moving out, but she was about to leave her mother's shadows and step into her own light.
The old Margaret would have yelled and caused a fuss but she took Franklin's advice and tell her daughter to go and be her own self. Then Margaret, as she's going up the stairs tells Franklin that she doesn't want him to leave her. When he asks her what they are really to each other, Margaret tells him that he knows and the two (for the first time in the entire series) share a passionate kiss.
As they head up to the bedroom, Franklin tells Margaret, "if we do this, it changes everything," to which Margaret replies, "Well I hope so!" All we can say is FINALLY! Just like fans, we've been waiting a while for this. One fan added, "Finally, Margaret has told Franklin how much she cares about him. #FilthyRichFOX" Another added, "Margaret and Franklin deserved better than to get wrapped up in this Monreaux mess with Eugene. #FilthyRichFOX."
