'Filthy Rich' Episode 4: When it will air and what to expect from the Monreaux family
Spoilers for 'Filthy Rich' Season 1 Episode 4
FOX's Southern gothic drama 'Filthy Rich' first premiered on FOX on September 21 and has since delivered three episodes with enough drama for audiences to want more. The series, surrounding the Monreaux family reeks of themes of wealth, power and religion that combine to make what we think is a fiery soap opera. The Monreaux family has power and money because of the fact that they have created a Christian television network, that was going well until the patriarch Eugene Monreaux (Gerald McRaney) died in a plane crash with two half-naked girls onboard. Now, with the three episodes since that intense debut, we know that Eugene is alive, but his family doesn't know that as of yet. His death made his indiscretions public - his three illegitimate children with three different women outside of his marriage to his current wife and now matriarch, Margaret Monreaux (Kim Cattrall). Ah well, and that's where all the drama stems from.
Where we left off
Episode 3 titled 'Psalm 25:3' aired on October 5 and saw the live baptism of Ginger Sweet (Melia Kreiling) on 'Wings of Dove' and the possibility of Jason "Mark" Conley's (Mark L. Young) true identity being exposed. Ginger's decision to record the men that tune into her adult website and of course, Ginger uses Margaret's help to ward off a stalker, Eric Monreaux (Corey Cott) sabotaging his marriage when he exposed his face on the adult website.
When will Episode 4 'Romans 8:30' air?
Since its debut, the series had kept a weekly airing pattern on Mondays, but reports stated that episode 4 will be pushed from this week to the next. Episode 4 airs Monday, October 19, 2020 from 9-10 pm ET on FOX
What to expect from the upcoming episode
FOX's official synopsis for Episode 4 'Romans 8:30' reads, "As tension continues to build after the incident with the mysterious stalker, Rose offers the Monreaux home as a safe haven for Ginger and her mother, Tina. While under lockdown at the home, Tina reveals to Ginger that she knows who the mysterious stalker is, leaving Ginger uneasy and demanding answers from her mother. Meanwhile, Reverend Paul and Eric are in cahoots with investors of the Sunshine Network and Reverend Paul goes so far as to threaten Margaret, leading her to turn to unlikely allies for help."
