CBS's 'FBI: Most Wanted' is a crime drama from creator René Balcer, and a spin-off from Dick Wolf's drama 'FBI'. The series first premiered on January 7, 2020, and is set to return with its Season 2 premiere on Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at 10 pm ET. The first episode was originally slated to be 'Execute' but was changed to another episode titled 'Rampage'.

Like most other productions that made their return to network TV, 'FBI: Most Wanted' will have the Covid-19 pandemic tied into their storyline. While this was expected, fans of the shows are waiting for the return of actor Terry O'Quinn who plays Jess LaCroix's (Julian McMahon) father Byron LaCroix. The premiere episode shows Byron return to Jess's life from New Orleans, and while he's visiting with a new younger girlfriend, it seems as though his gambling habits may still be intact.

Byron is a gambling addict with a personality that quite differs from his son. The sneak peek posted by the network sees Jess skeptical about the fact that his daughter Tali LaCroix (YaYa Gosselin) was hanging out with her grandpa. It would make sense that Jess wouldn't want his father around his daughter too much. The video shows a scene where Byron tells his son he doesn't see what the big deal is that he took Tali to the race tracks, with Tali reassuring her dad saying, "it was cool dad".

Immediately, with a disturbing smile, Jess asks his father, "do any betting while you were there?" This back-and-forth isn't new to Byron who says, "here comes the FBI interrogation", but Byron does admit to "one little bet", saying "it was right there". His son reminds him that it's never just one, reminding him of the time that Byron had gambled away his son's college funds. Seems fair to say that the dinner table guests were awkward out, and cleared the room for the father and the son.

The fact that that emphasis will be placed on Jess as a character is welcomed considering Season 1, although hectic, were more focused on the cases at hand. Showrunner David Hudgins, according to reports, revealed that there will be more on Jess and his relationships with other characters. Jess's character arc and development will only go upwards since his father will be introduced, and because there seems to be hostility there, we can expect to learn more about Jess's past. There will also be more characters that will relate to Jess (more on that later), but it would be exciting to learn more about the man the seasoned agent who oversees the Fugitive Task Force.

The Season 2 premiere episode 'Rampage' synopsis reads, "With COVID devastating the country, two gunmen take out their desperation and rage on the elite class they perceive to be oppressing them as the team attempts to track and stop them. Also, Jess's father (Terry O'Quinn) returns to his son's life and, although he's brought a new girlfriend, he may not be over his old ways." You can watch the promo for the episode below.

'FBI: Most Wanted' airs on Tuesdays, at 10 pm EST, on CBS.
