Fatal shooting of man inside smoking shop in NYC's Harlem caught on camera
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Harrowing video of a cold-blooded homicide captured a man being shot in the head by a gunman inside a smoke shop in Harlem on Sunday, March 9. The shooting is the latest incident in a string of violent crimes linked to the Big Apple.
Officers found the 36-year-old victim inside the tobacco shop at 304 Lenox Avenue around 8 pm. Law enforcement sources claim that the unidentified person was shot in the head and back. Authorities stated that he was declared dead after being transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. Police stated that the suspect and the victim got involved in an altercation before the shooting. The gunman and the victim can be seen speaking for a while on video of the incident, according to New York Post.

How was the victim attacked by the suspect?
Several people could be seen in the video standing nearby as the two men were involved in a heated argument. The victim eventually appeared to start walking away, but just as he did, the suspect grabbed a firearm from his pocket and fired, wounding the victim in the head, as shown in the video.
The footage further revealed the shooter savagely firing another bullet into the victim's back while he was still trying to get up after he had fallen to the ground. The suspect was seen walking calmly out of the restaurant following the horrifying assault. Police said that he fled on foot while wearing a dark-colored outfit. There haven't been any arrests made at the moment.

Another incident
On Sunday, April 9, in addition to the Harlem location, employees at another smoke shop also sought police assistance. Authorities claim that a masked man robbed a smoke shop in Brooklyn by brandishing a piece of unknown equipment and stealing money. According to the NYPD, the thief was dressed in all black, including a mask. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries.
