'Fast and the Furious' franchise has been one of the most popular movie franchises. The legacy has lived on for almost 22 years and while some fans are super attached to it others are not finding a "justifiable" reason for the movie series to continue. Regardless, it is and it is coming back with the biggest bang ever. 'Fast X' is the sequel to 'F9' (2021), serving as the tenth main installment, and the eleventh overall film in the 'Fast & Furious' franchise. Although the last film was trolled by the audience a lot because of the number of times Vin Diesel's Dom mentions "family," however, 'Fast X' aka 'Fast and the Furious 10' marks to be the second film where the creators won't feature Dwayne Johnson, but Vin Diesel will be back with his family to woo you one more time. Apparently, it is the fourth most expensive movie ever made.

'Fast X' is the first film in the series to feature electric cars, with leaked set photos featuring the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona SRT Banshee Concept and the gull-winged DeLorean Alpha5. Other vehicles set to feature include the 2022 TorRed Dodge Charger R/T and the 1970 Charger R/T, a series staple as per reports. Does this make it expensive? Read more to find out.

The film's official title was revealed when principal photography began in April 2022. Justin Lin left as director later that month, citing creative differences, although will retain writing and producing credits. Louis Leterrier was then hired as his replacement a week later. However, the shocking matter is that the film is being made with an estimated production budget of 340 million dollars making it the fourth-most expensive film ever. However, when the news surfaced online fans seem to be hugely disappointed with it.

A fan said, "After reading that 340 mill its not even the final nr,it says that has balloned, means it will be even more until they finish it,+ marketing,Jesus Christ they will need 800-900 to break even, its ridiculous." A fan wrote, "What the bell are they going to be doing in this one, fight Galactus or something!?" A fan shared, "With a budget like that and not including marketing, this film needs to make around a billion dollars just to break even," while another added, "Weren't they gonna stop making these when Paul Walker died?" Lastly, a fan tweeted, "please let it be the last one, for the love of god."

Safe to say, fans are either displeased or extremely concerned. However, 'Fast X' is scheduled to be released on May 19, 2023, by Universal Pictures, while its sequel is planned to be released in February 2024.
