'You are hope for many people': Fans thrilled as Saraya announces her in-ring debut during AEW Dynamite
QUEENS, NEW YORK: It has been almost two months since Saraya was a surprise debut at Dynamite Grand Slam. However, uncertainty loomed over what exactly her role would be in AEW. During the Dynamite on Wednesday night, November 9, she left no more doubt, announcing that she is fully cleared for her in-ring return in a showdown with Britt Baker.
Chastising Saraya, Baker said she “left your house and walked into mine.” The wrestler responded saying Baker does not know what it takes to make it in this business. "You know, I think it’s really cute you put yourself on a pedestal, considering you got handed your position by Tony Khan, you got fed a bunch of QT’s trainees, and you’ve only been in front of the camera for three years. Sweetheart, I’ve been in this business for 17 years professionally. You don’t know what it takes to be a superstar. You don’t know what it takes to even be a star," Saraya said.

"I traveled up and down the UK and all over Europe for free because I love this business.I got hit by a car and wrestled the same day because I love this business. I handed out wrestling resumes to promoters and got turned down for the sheer fact that I was female. You have no idea what it takes to make it because I was starving revolutions before they were a trend and before wrestling was even a twinkle in your eye. I’ve done Madison Square Garden and I’ve done the O2. I’ve done the Tokyo Dome and now I’m in front of an ungrateful b***h. You don’t know what it takes for it. I’ve been publicly humiliated in front of millions of people. I battled my drug addiction publicly," she added. "I’ve given my career and my neck for this business. You don’t have a clue what it takes to make it. But here you go. Brit, this is another opportunity handed to you on a silver platter. This is going to be my comeback story and this is going to be your biggest match of your career. It’s going to be you versus me at Full Gear.”

Fans are thrilled at the announcement, with one of them writing on Twitter, "I have seen her career through good times and bad, but Saraya is a woman who fights to get ahead. It is the perfect time for her to return to what she has always been... the present and future of women's wrestling." "The greatest promo ever in my opinion. @Saraya thanks for letting out your words. Never give up girl. You are hope for many people. And can not wait for your match with the good doctor. Stay safe and slay them," said another user. One said, "I love Britt and I love Saraya so I'm torn. Lots of reality was thrown into this promo battle. Really want to see Saraya thrive upon returning to wrestling again but Britt could take the W and still if she does it alone and that could elevate her even more. I'm going to Full Gear."
