NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Fans were ecstatic to see Susan Lucci enjoy an Italian dinner at a New York City restaurant with the legendary celebrity chef Lidia Bastianich on Wednesday night, April 12. 'So many happy times together'

Lucci marked the ninth month of her husband's death on New Year's Eve by posting a photo of him kissing her in a restaurant. She captioned the post, "So many happy times together." She shared a meditation book that helped her in her grief - 'Healing After Loss' by Martha W Hickman - in August.

Lucci is not looking to date yet

Lucci revealed that strangers tried to match her with a new man in February. She said Helmut Huber had a "very special big presence," and she is not looking to date yet. "Everybody's different, and I just miss him, and he's worth missing. He was the love of my life", she said, according to People.

Massive blockage in Lucci's heart

A scan revealed that the actress had a massive blockage in her heart's main artery, a genetic condition from her dad's side, and had two stents placed. "I didn't realize how close I came to a fatal heart attack," she told People. A second blockage occurred in January 2021, this time from cholesterol. Admittedly, she indulged in "comfort food" during the pandemic, which is "not her normal way of eating."

'Glad you are getting out'

Delighted fans flooded Lucci's Instagram post with joyous comments. "So glad you are getting out and enjoying life! You look radiant!" a fan gushed. Another commented, "I'm so happy to see you out and about and enjoying life! I know this past year has been exceptionally difficult for you, and yet you are living life with such grace and charm, and always with a smile." One comment read, "Thank God for Susan LUCCI always reminding us of so many good Chef who I’m sure can share great recipe ideas." Another said, "You look lovely Susan and so glad you got to see Lydia. Her cooking show is one of my favorites." "Two extraordinary and powerful women-great picture", a comment read.
