Who is Monica Shah?
Brian's new lady love is a doctor from Tampa. According to her Instagram bio, she is a rheumatology resident. If you're wondering if there's any awkwardness between Brian and the Monicas, then the answer is apparently a hard no. Brian reveals that the two Monicas were friends way before he was even in the picture. The Monicas reportedly knew each other from their beauty pageant days.
Dr Monica won the Miss India Florida pageant in 2014. She then went on to compete in Miss India USA, and was crowned as the first runner-up. In the trailer, Dr Monica can be seen asking Brian about his situation with the other Monica. The trio is later shown skating together, while Vishal Parvani jokes about there being too many Monicas. There isn't much information available on Brian and Monica's relationship. The couple appears to be keeping their relationship on the down-low on social media. The couple follows each other and have even liked pictures of each other, but haven't posted any pictures of themselves together.
The previous season of 'Family Karma' revolved heavily around Brian's realization that he caught feelings for his childhood best friend Monica. But when he finally made his move on her, Monica turned him down by pointing out that they were better off as friends. Just like Brian, even Monica found herself a new man. Rish Karam, her new boyfriend, will be making his debut in the upcoming season of 'Family Karma'.
