Stewie finally says something that the rest of Quahog can understand - or take offense, if you will

It's hard to imagine that after 18 strong seasons of watching Stewie Griffin be the most eloquent, prolific character on the animated sitcom, the Season 19 premiere will be the first time he actually says a word. It's still unclear whether anybody on Fox's 'Family Guy' understands Stewie at all, except Brian, the dog of course, but in Episode 1 titled 'Stewie's First Word', the rest of Quahog seems to understand Stewie too! Or takes offense, if you will, because Stewie's first word - to nobody's surprise except his mom Lois's - is a swear word!

According to the official synopsis given by Fox, "Stewie finally says his first word, and it's a swearword; when Lois is shunned by the other moms, she tries to figure out where Stewie could have possibly learned it." First teased back during Family Guy's Comic Con Panel in July 2020, Stewie saying his first word has been a big deal within the fandom. Probably because the audience has been enamored by this little baby's wit and proficiency in the language more than any of the absolute nutjobs on the show. But that doesn't make Stewie's big swearing any less of a deal.

Teasers surrounding Stewie's dad and Griffin family patriarch Peter has also been of interest to fans. Among the new outrageous claims Peter comes up with is him thinking he's in the mob in the very first episode and if that isn't worth pondering upon, what could possibly be? Speaking of underground brotherhood, the Griffins' daughter Meg reveals she is a secret member of the X-Men. The family has long tried making Meg feel like an absolute mutant in her own home, so about effing time she reclaims that identity. Her other brother Chris is no less when it comes to the family oddball quotient and this time, Chris's new project involves showcasing how to sleep with one eye open. Life's basic skills, no big deal.

Making things the weirdest has to be the insanely human, walking, talking family dog Brian who finds out he’s one-percent cat. Nobody believes him of course, but the revelation is worth a chuckle purely because of its satirical connotation and Brian being White. Looks like we just have to bank on Lois to reinstate sanity back into the family, once again.

'Family Guy' Season 19 premieres on Sunday, September 27, at 9:30 pm only on FOX.
