'Family Guy' Season 19 Premiere: What is Stewie's first word and why is Caillou on the show?

Months ago, before 'Family Guy' had even premiered back in the days when Comic-Con teased of a possibly better time by now, we had learned that Stewie Griffing would be uttering his word ever word. How the most eloquent guy in all of Quahog was still never understood by the rest of his family, beats us, but considering only their talking dog could understand him, this isn't too weird. Titled 'Stewie's First word' the Season 19 premiere focuses on the toddler finally speaking what adults and those older to him can understand, but instead of a joyous celebration, it turns into a nightmare for his mother Lois. Relief comes in the form of ample Quagmire jokes and a random Caillou and his dad appearing in the episode, but for everyone who wants to know what was Stewie's first word, it was a crisp 'F**k'.
In the middle of a church full of people, Stewie, frustrated that no one pays attention to him when he speaks and only coddles him like a child when he blubbers, lets out his first-ever word and it's a deafening scream where he says the F-word. The outburst comes when they are in church for Easter and in honor of lent, the after-service snacks do not offer Chewie Chips Ahoy. Stewie loses his cool as soon as the pastor announces it over the podium and belts out a scream filled with anguish, with just that one word. The entire crowd inside the church is taken aback by the sheer audacity of this toddler and fingers are immediately pointed at the unsuspecting mother who just didn't know how or why Stewie's first word would be that.
In retrospect, it is revealed that Lois has uttered the word around him quite a few times so maybe she is the one to blame. But the way society criminalizes a mother for using a swear word if the child picks it up is satirized hilariously and beautifully - not that one would expect anything less from a show as unfiltered as this one. And it is through Lois's journey of self-reflection following Stewie's slip up that also brings in 'Caillou' - featuring the titular cartoon character from the French-Canadian cartoon that Lois binges through in the premiere hoping that's where Stewie picked up his first word from. Fun!
