Who is Fae Johnstone?

Johnstone is a trans woman who is a feminist, writer, small business owner, and advocate. She comes from a middle-class household and is a White settler. She is a 2SLGBTQ+ and trans advocate with awards. Johnstone is the executive director and co-owner of Wisdom2Action (W2A), which is headquartered in Ottawa, Ontario, on an unceded and unrecognized Algonquin territory. She has extensive expertise as a project manager, diversity and inclusion consultant, and is an expert in community engagement, according to Widsom2Action.

She was raised in a military household and moved every three to four years as a child, but Ottawa is where she feels most at home. Further, someone noted, "Angry transphobes need a biology lesson. Trans Woman are women! And no, women are not being oppressed by trans women. #BoycottHersheys."
