Ewan McGregor's daughter Clara regrets calling Mary Elizabeth a 'piece of trash': "It wasn't my finest moment"
Ewan McGregor's divorce has been pretty hushed up, in terms of the actor himself not having spoken a word about it; but his daughter initially had a lot to say. And more recently, Clara McGregor decided to open up once again about the end of her parents' 22-year marriage - especially in terms of the effect it had on their family.
Ewan and his ex-wife, Eve Mavrakisin's divorce was filed by himself back in January - just within months after his relationship with his 'Fargo' co-star, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, was revealed. Next, in July, Clara had called Mary Elizabeth "a piece of trash" on Instagram, but since then she has come to regret it. "It wasn't the most mature way to go about things, but I was angry and upset," she shared in an interview with The Times. "There had been a lot building up to it and a lot to deal with—not to make excuses or anything—but, yeah, it wasn't my finest moment."
