'Evil' winter premiere: Will David survive this hospital of horrors in 'Room 320'?

Just minutes into the winter premiere of CBS' new supernatural thriller 'Evil' and we are extremely worried about our favorite priest in training — David Acosta.
The official synopsis of the winter slash midseason premiere aka Episode 11 titled 'Room 320' reveals: "After David is badly wounded, he is determined to fight off the menacing presence of death from his hospital bed."
The title stands for the cabin David is lodged in, of course, and as he wakes up from his drug-induced sleep in a lot of pain and suffering, we see an extremely sinister looking nurse who just gives off the fresh-out-of-hell vibe approach him.
She comes over to inform David about his situation and tells him of the nerve damage he has suffered. She then inquires about David's pain levels on a scale of one to 10. After a few hand exercises to check his progress when she leaves the cabin, David's cabin-mate warns him of the nurse. He tells David that even though he called his pain level a solid nine, the nurse wrote it down as a two.
The other patient tells David how the nurse always does this so she can control his painkillers and there's not a single thing about her entire demeanor to vouch for her innocence. She looks exactly like the kind of person who is possibly under Leland Townsend's influence and if that's really the case — which, let's be real, it most likely is, then David's life is indeed in grave danger.
Add to that the Asian nurse David keeps hallucinating about under the extra dosages of painkillers administered by this demon-possessed nurse, and we just know that there's no getting out of there for the priest any time soon. This is only further amplified by the fact that when David's consciousness resurfaces next, he sees the same menacing nurse walk over to the patient next to David and suffocates him to death using a pillow. Whether David imagined that or not, is uncertain, but the patient is pronounced dead and that can never be good. Is David next?
Somewhere far away, his case partners Dr Kristen Bouchard and Ben Shakir are looking for David but as for the lingering presence of 'death' in the hospital of horrors — we stand concerned about whether he is coming out of this alive or not.
'Evil' airs on Thursdays at 10pm only on CBS.
