'Euphoria' Season 2 Episode 1: Is Nate dead? Fans say 'he can rot in hell'

Twitter seemed in favor of Fez getting his revenge back on Nate as the latter had it coming

Spoilers for 'Euphoria' Season 2 Episode 1

Nate may have had all the action in the first half of the 'Euphoria' Season 2 opener, but he was at the receiving end from Fez at the end of the episode. And what a way to go out if he's dead. He's been pummeled and clobbered to death on New Year's Eve and the episode closes with him being moved to a different room. The rager of a party suddenly saw a lot of sobriety after Fez's violent attack and only time will tell whether Nate pulled through. Call it revenge after he ratted Fez out to the cops in Season 1.

Much of the first episode of 'Euphoria' Season 2 is about Fez, his troubled childhood and his journey into dealing. It also shed light on Rue (Zendaya) after she pulls through following her sordid state in the season 1 finale. The episode sees the teens gather at an NYE party and things seem fine until a final showdown between Fez and Nate ends with the latter fighting for life. Twitter seemed in favour of Fez. "Finally nate is getting what he deserves #Euphoria," read one of the tweets.

The hate continued to pour in. "Nate Jacobs can rot in hell #EUPHORIA," one of the fans opined. The trolls weren't far behind. "Lexi was unsure whether to be repulsed or turned on by Fez beating Nate. #EUPHORIA #EuphoriaHBO," a fan remarked.
