EPIX 'From' Episode 8: Will Boyd and Sara make it out alive by the end of the season?

One of the key storylines of EPIX's 'From' Episode was Sheriff Boyd Stevens (Harrold Perrineau) and Sara Myers (Avery Konrad) heading out in search of answers. Adding on to this is the former's flashback of how he ended up at the haunted and mysterious place. With two episodes left, the bigger question is will one of these two characters find the answers? Will they make it out alive? And most importantly, will the mystery of the monsters be revealed considering there are two episodes left in the season.
If anything, the conversation between Ellis (Corteon Moore) and Boyd may serve as a hint of what is to come. In all probability, the sheriff might be the one to make a supreme sacrifice. He's shown that he's ready to sacrifice for the townsfolk before and that would mean another key character might kick the bucket. Sara has been an integral component in the series although her screentime has been quite limited for the last couple of episodes. Despite her intentions, she still comes across as one who can't be trusted and that makes for an interesting Episode 9.

With Father Khatri's (Shaun Majumder) death in the previous episode, the horror takes a bit of a backseat and focuses on the arrival of Boyd while also shedding light on how insanity can get to the best of the people. A classic example was his wife 'Iron' Abby (Lisa Ryder) who despite the mental toughness caves into the horrors of the place and starts killing people before eventually being gunned down by Boyd himself. There are still two episodes in the series and the ninth chapter might focus on the Mathews and perhaps even Victor as well who was a significant absentee in the episode.
