CHICAGO, ILLINOIS: Episode 4 of 'Emperor of Ocean Park' brings in new twist to the ongoing mystery. Addison Garland (Henry Simmons), who disappeared from the narrative shortly after his father, Judge Oliver Garland's funeral, has now returned to the city.

Released on MGM+ on August 4, 2024, the latest episode sheds light on a new angle. While Mariah (Tiffany Mack) and Talcott Garland (Grantham Coleman) are chasing leads outside their family, their own elder brother might have all the answers they are looking for!

A flashback from the year 2017 hints that Addison might be knowing about the "arrangements” that Talcott is looking for.

The sneak peak shows Judge Oliver Garland (Forest Whitaker) meeting Addison for a dinner. He asks him to stop his casual affairs and start thinking of having a family.

While Addison seems uninterested, Judge Garland adds that he will have to carry their family's legacy after his death while handing him his scrapbook that contains his research about some hit and run cases.

A look at the scrapbook and Addison breaks into tears. Could this mean that the scrapbook had some information that scratched his personal wounds? Maybe yes!

During the episode, Talcott and Mariah also learn that Addison asked Sally to burn the scrapbook after his father died. This may hint that Addison isn't interested in digging up old graves and rather wants to move on in his life.

When Talcott and Mariah discuss their conspiracy theory during dinner, Addison seems to be uncomfortable and argues that their father actually died of heart attack.

As Talcott and Mariah don't stop talking about their investigation, Addison walks out of the room in anger. Even at this point, he tells them nothing about the 'arrangements' that their father told him about in 2017.

His silence hints that either Addison is too wounded by some trauma of the past or he believes that pursuing this mystery could only bring more harm to the family.

Either way, he isn't yet ready to open up to his siblings, which is why the investigation gets tougher for Talcott and Mariah, who'll have to take a longer route to get to the bottom of the truth.

'Emperor of Ocean Park' Episode 4 is now streaming on MGM+.
