‘Emergence’ Episode 10: Fans thrilled about flip in Piper’s character as they wonder what the AI is up to
ABC’s mystery-thriller series ‘Emergence’ Episode 10, which premiered today, seems to have blown the audience’s mind with yet another highly intriguing plot. The episode saw Jo continue to pursue Piper, driven by her immense love for her, while the AI displayed a drastic change in her behavior.
Although it was quite emotional to watch Piper choose her kind of people over Jo, fans can’t stop wondering what the AI has on her mind, now that she has come to terms with her new life.
The major flip in Piper’s character did not only help the episode garner the appreciation of the viewers, but it also has them flooding Twitter with varied theories.
While a few are seen discussing Piper’s next move, the rest are unable to get their heads around the creators’ choice to introduce many more AIs.
“They do a very awesome job im so hooked into the story and finding out what’s to come next. Also figuring out what the other AI s have planned for piper #emergence,” expressed a fan.
Meanwhile, another wrote, “And I don’t think Piper has changed or been changed. She’s not acting like she was when that crazy chick messed with her programming. I think in 4 weeks Piper got a lot more information. #Emergence”
We have seen Jo go to hell and back to save Piper if need be. But, it was easier for the police chief to do so when the AI wasn’t sure of her existence, lacking a voice of her own.
A fan pointed out, “Well that lady differently messed up Piper’s brain and we know what that little girl can do when someone messes with her. Whatever that woman is after I don’t think she’s gonna get it! #Emergence”
And some, came up with theories of their own, to justify the relationship between Jo and Piper. “I am convinced Jo is a robot but has forgotten... like the blonde mannequin in that twilight episode that forgot she was a mannequin. That would explain her having such a strong immediate bond with Piper. Watch. Robot,” wrote an ‘Emergence’ fan.
