Reacting in disbelief, Rose Morgan, who arrived at the trailer home at around 11.30 am on the next day to deliver communion and the church bulletin from St Agnes Catholic Church, said, "All of them are gone? I don’t believe it. Describing the family, she said that the members consisted of a husband-and-wife in their sixties, an elderly family member in her nineties, and a disabled adult son. She further said the community had also recently built a ramp for the home. The husband cared for both the women in house, one of whom was in a wheelchair. She also described the man and added by saying that "the husband was always calm [and] always friendly.” The family member in her 90s was an active member of the church community, said the woman. "She went to the senior luncheon and bible study. She just turned 92. I sent her a card," said Morgan, as quoted by The Sun. One of the neighbors, Eric Elek, said that he would see a disabled man outside, along with an elderly couple. “They pretty much kept to themselves,” said Elek.
