'Elsbeth' Episode 2 Preview: Elsbeth Tascioni's peculiar sleuthing skills take the spotlight
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: CBS is expanding its legal universe with another investigative drama, 'Elsbeth,' starring Carrie Preston in the eponymous role.
'The Good Wife' spin-off series will have ten episodes and is the brainchild of Robert and Michelle King.
The series explores the lives of unconventional attorney Elsbeth Tascioni (Carrie Preston), who left her lucrative Chicago legal profession behind and relocated to New York, where she joined the NYPD as a consent decreee with a secret agenda.
What will happen in 'Elsbeth' episode 2?
As established in the pilot episode of the series, Elsbeth's unique ability to corner criminals has left Captain C. W. Wagner (Wendell Pierce) impressed.
Wagner, initially hesitant to include her on his team, is now warming up to the idea of her joining the NYPD. Elsbeth will also reaffirm her status when she takes on a new criminal case in the second episode of the series.
Her observations and unconventional approaches will also be valued by Officer Kaya Blanke (Carra Patterson), opening the door for the women to develop a friendship.
Nevertheless, Elsbeth must navigate towards her ulterior objective of exposing Captain Wagner's corruption, which she believes is the result of a misunderstanding.
When will 'Elsbeth' Episode 2 air?
The second episode of the series, titled 'Reality Check', will air on both the CBS television network and Paramount+ on Thursday, March 7 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.
The episode will be directed by Ron Underwood and written by Michelle King and Robert King.
The television show, which debuted on Thursday, 29th February will release new episodes every week.
