A user said, "Elon Musk buying Twitter like a multi-billion dollar toy so he can “be cool” and running it into the ground as he throws a tantrum because actual cool people like Trent Reznor think he’s an idiot is the most organically-made-for-Hollywood dark comedy screenplay I’ve ever seen."

"Trent reznor is a better person, cooler, and far more talented than you losers," wrote Hannah Gais, a journalist with South Poverty Law Centre. "Grown a** men admitting/tweeting that they've never heard of Trent Reznor is embarrassing. Like, I'm embarrassed for you. No wonder you all grew up to idolize the Musky's of the world," tweeted another. A user claimed, "Trent Reznor didn't have to spend $44 billion to make people people think he's cool."

"It bothers Musk so little that Trent Reznor quit Twitter that he's tweeting to Cat Turd about how little it bothers him. Just like when he tried to engage with Steven King, said he was a fan, then deleted it after no response. A literal toddler could run this app better," said publicist Karen Dalton Beninato.
