Netflix 'Elite' Season 5: Date, cast and plot of  Spanish teen drama

If you're already wondering when your dose of drama that the teens at Las Encinas provide with such flair, will be back in your life, well the good news is that Season 5 of 'Elite' has been confirmed. We're sure fans can't wait to see what the future holds for Ari, Patrick, Mencia, Guzman, Samuel, Rebeca and Cayetana after Season 4's gripping finale which involved a possible murder and a messy love triangle. 

The so-called new order who were introduced on Season 4 of 'Elite' including the Commerford siblings and their father Benjamin (Diego Martin) will continue their dramatic family dynamics into Season 5 as well and it will be interesting to see what the future holds for Ander (Aron Piper) and Guzman (Miguel Bernardeau) and how their travels have changed them.

Season 5 of the show is already in production, but there has been no clarity as yet on a release date.

Air time and how to live stream

When Season 5 of 'Elite' hits Netflix, fans of the show can watch it by signing up for the platform’s free trial. Apart from that, viewers can also opt for different subscription plans provided by the streaming giant. A premium plan that allows more people to watch the service on different screens simultaneously, costs $18 per month. Meanwhile, the basic US plan costs $9 per month.

Plot 

'Elite' centers around the lives of the students at elite secondary school Las Encinas. While most of the students are wealthy, there are three students who are in the school on scholarships. The dynamics between the students of different social standing forms the basis for much of the drama on the show. Season 4 of 'Elite' saw the introduction of several new faces and it seems that will continue in Season 5 as well to keep it interesting. Netflix has confirmed that Argentinian actress Valentina Zenere and Brazilian actor André Lamoglia will be the fresh faces that fans of 'Elite' can look forward to in Season 5.

Cast

Itzan Escamilla 

Itzan Escamilla is best known for playing Samuel Garcia Dominguez, one of the students from a less privileged background at Las Encinas. The role is a breakout role for the Spanish actor who studied at the prestigious Cristina Rota School of Dramatic Arts in Madrid.

Miguel Bernardeau

Miguel Bernardeau plays the extremely confident and privileged Guzman Nunier on 'Elite'. Prior to 'Elite' Bernardeau was known for his roles in the TV series 'Sabuesos' and the movie 'Waves of Crime'.

Carla Diaz

Carla Diaz plays the new entrant to Las Encinas, Ari Commerford, who is competitive and unafraid to speak her mind. Carla Diaz who is an actor and a dancer started performing at the age of nine and is known for her roles on shows such as 'Tierra de lobos', 'El Príncipe' and 'Seis hermanas'.
