Eli Erlick: Trans activist brags about illegally supplying 'life-saving' hormone blockers to minors
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Eli Erlick, a transgender activist, openly bragged about selling hormone blockers to children, calling herself a "proud criminal in Mississippi" after the US state became the latest state to ban transgender minors from accessing gender-affirming medical therapy.
Twenty-seven states have passed nearly100 laws to restrict access to hormone blockers and other "gender-affirming care" for minors, reports DailyMail. Erlick, 27, admitted to ordering four times as many estrogen and testosterone blockers as were needed and distributing the leftover pills to children who didn't have access to the drugs. On Tuesday, March 7, Erlick brazenly took to social media to describe her illegal cross-sex drug distribution network. "I'm now a proud criminal in Mississippi for 'aiding and abetting' lifesaving medicine for trans youth," Erlick tweeted. "I realize the risks of posting this but it's more important to encourage others to share lifesaving medications than to guarantee one's safety (granted I'm in little danger in NY)"

'We'll provide care ourselves'
"I order 4 times more estrogen & testosterone blockers than I actually take. You should, too," Erlick said in a different post. "Several states have now banned trans medicine for minors but we won't let a single young person go without medication. We'll provide care ourselves if youth can't access formal medicine."

The founder of Trans Student Educational Resources, a group that works to advance the welfare of transgender youth, fired back at the most recent anti-trans legislation in Florida. "Florida's newest anti-trans bill is the scariest yet. It lets the state not only kidnap trans kids but also cis children with trans parents or siblings," Erlick tweeted.

Erlick added, "They only need to be 'at risk' of receiving trans healthcare (whatever that means). This should be front-page news." Following the posts, commentator Matt Walsh tweeted that he had spoken with the Mississippi governor's office about the suspected crime.
Responding to a tweet from Twitter user @LibsofTikTok, Walsh wrote, "Erlick has admitted to many crimes but never to committing one in a state that is not only willing to prosecute but has the political will to do so. This was a serious error and I intend to fully exploit it."

'Get ready for that orange jumpsuit!'
Many people have expressed their opinions regarding Erlicks' sale of illegal cross-sex drugs on Twitter. One person wrote, "What is 'life-saving' about mental illness, psychosis, separation from reality, and mutilating one’s genitals and body?"

Another person wrote, "Giving HRT to under 18s will get you in jail. 2024 baby, we’ll be back. We almost own the Senate now. Get ready for that orange jumpsuit!" A third person wrote, "Giving prescription drugs to minors seems like a bad idea." One person wrote, "Is there a reason why you have to share your hormones with minors instead of waiting until they're 18 and can get their own hormones and transition if they wish? I mean why take the risk?" "I couldn’t care less about what you’re doing because I simply don’t care about the gender debate, but you’re incriminating yourself quite a bit. It’s also federal since your distributing across state lines. If you’re convicted of a federal crime you’ll serve 85 per cent of time." this other person wrote.
