Model and fashion blogger Eleanor Calder was trending on Twitter on Thursday, February 25, after she changed her Instagram handle. This sent her fans into a tizzy as they worried about her relationship status with former One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson.

The couple has been in a long-term relationship since Tomlinson's days with One Direction. They first got together in 2011 but split in 2015. In 2017 they got back together and have remained in a relationship ever since. In January 2020, Tomlinson had revealed that he hopes to marry Calder. The model has 3.5M followers on Instagram and her handle was initially 'eleanorj92' to match with Tomlinson's 'louist91'. However, it was changed to 'eleanorcalder'. Also, the fact that Calder untagged Tomlinson from a couple of pictures left fans wondering if the couple is still together.

'Harry Tomlinson sounds cool'

Twitter was abuzz with speculations about the couple's relationship status. "Eleanor has changed her username to ‘EleanorCalder’. No longer matching Louis!" said a tweet. "eleanor changed her user from eleanorj92 (which was matching with louis cause his is louist91) to eleanorcalder and untagged louis from a couple pics," said another. One more said, "not larries thinking eleanor changing her @ is suspicious and it means her and louis broke up, like HUH."

Larry Stylinson shippers did their bit. Even though Tomlinson and Styles have denied dating rumors, fans continued to ship the two musicians. In 2017, Tomlinson spoke about how gossip that he and Styles were dating affected their once tight-knit friendship. "When it first came around I was with Eleanor, and it actually felt a little bit disrespectful to Eleanor, who is my girlfriend now. I’m so protective over things like that, about the people I love," Tomlinson said told Seventeen.

Netizens also shared their favorite headlines for the apparent breakup. “fans left wondering if there’s trouble in paradise after model eleanor calder changes her username and untags boyfriend louis tomlinson from instagram photos," said one.

Others wondered how Eleanor has fans at all. "genuine question - how does eleanor have fans? She truly doesn’t do anything and doesn’t even try to interact in any way with these “fans” I feel her fans are just Louis fans following a narrative so they feel obligated to like her lol," said a tweet.
