Drug lord El Chapo's wife is reportedly in talks to become a reality TV star on VH1's 'Cartel Crew' after she met up with the show's cast member Michael Blanco.

A report stated that 30-year-old Emma Coronel Aispuro, wife of Joaquin 'El Chapo' Guzman, could be joining the Cartel Crew. Aispuro is barred from meeting her husband who is presently locked up in the supermax facility in Colorado. As reported by TMZ, Aispuro was in Miami to discuss the possibility of joining the show.

She was pictured on a yacht with Michael Blanco who is the youngest son of 'cocaine godmother' Griselda Blanco. Michael Blanco and his partner Marie had pulled up on their boat to have a face-to-face meeting with Aispuro in an effort to get her to come on the reality TV show. The show is presently in its second season.

A deal had been laid on the table and the show is eager to start filming as soon as possible. What this could mean for Guzman is that he could finally get a glimpse of his wife if he gets access to a prison TV. Guzman is currently serving out life behind bars with an additional 30 years post his conviction as the head of the Sinaloa drug Cartel.

It is not clear how much Aispuro will be able to get candid about her life as part of one of the most feared crime centric families.

Very recently, Mexican law enforcement had been able to capture Ovidio Guzman Lopez, one of drug lord Joaquin El Chapo Guzman’s sons but was forced to let him go after chaos broke out in the city due to the brief arrest. We had previously reported that masked gunmen set up roadblocks all over the city of Culiacan and were seen prowling the streets, exchanging gunfire with the authorities.
