'This isn’t a cheer competition': 'DWTS' Season 32 finalist Charity Lawson mocked over bland performance
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Bachelor Nation' star Charity Lawson reached the 'Dancing With The Stars' Season 32 Finale, but disappointed fans by delivering a 'cheer routine' instead of a Ballroom dance.
Some viewers compared her performance to a sporting event, with a few jokingly asking if she was at the Super Bowl.
Dressed in a purple cheerleading costume, Charity and her partner Artem Chigvintsev performed a Freestyle routine to 'Lose My Breath' and 'Sueltate.'
Seeing her dance in the finale episode, a fan claimed, "Charity was good but too me was more fitting at a sporting event and not a ballroom. I have seen performances like this at basketball games."

Another took to Instagram to claim, "It was a good cheer routine. not dance routine." Another mocked the star's performance, "I loved it but it wasn’t a cheer competition. There was barely any dancing."
"I know there’s no rules in the freestyle but was that a dance routine or a cheer routine?" asked a fan. "This isn’t a cheerleading competition. She has no emotion. Even the clip crying is polished and put together. That isn’t realness," another mocked the finalist's routine.
Charity Lawson and Artem Chigvintsev bag 30/30 in 'DWTS' Season 32 Finale
Most of the contestants managed to get a 30/30 in the Freestyle round. And, so did Charity and Artem. Charity went first in the Freestyle round.
Even though viewers were left disappointed with her performance, the judges seemed to have liked it enough to give her a 30/30.
Derek Hough asserted that Charity had been 'waiting all season' to deliver a unique performance unseen on the show. Bruno Tonioli was left 'thrilled,' praising the couple's exceptional teamwork.
Carrie Ann Inaba points out a mistake in Charity Lawson's 'DWTS' Season 32 finale performance
Before performing Freestyle, Charity and Artem performed Tango on 'Libertango.' During their performance, Charity lost both of her earrings.
Carrie Ann Inaba dubbed Charity's Tango to be her "redemption" performance. However, the judge claimed to have seen a mistake in their jive.
Derk Hough interrupted Carrie Ann as he claimed Charity's performance to be the "best dance" so far.
'DWTS' Season 32 Finale is available to stream Live on ABC and Disney+.
