Around tens of thousands of people dressed in red, white and blue marched in support of President Donald Trump in Washington, DC, on Saturday, November 14, afternoon. They were rallying to protest alleged "voter fraud" in the presidential election. But later, scuffles between protesters and counter-protesters broke out across the city.

USA Today reports that at least 10 people had been arrested so far on Saturday evening, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. Four people were arrested for firearm violations, two for assault, one for not having a permit, one for assaulting a police officer and two for disorderly conduct, according to public affairs officer Alaina Gertz. The daytime rally – which was being called as Million MAGA March, Stop the Steal and March for Trump – started at Freedom Plaza. There were chants of "four more years" and "stop the steal". A part of the group then marched to the Capitol. According to the report, many people had traveled from Texas, North Carolina, Indiana, Wisconsin, New York and New Jersey.

Later, Trump supporters clashed with a group of about two dozen counter-protesters near the Supreme Court, where people held up signs supporting Joe Biden and Black Lives Matter. One poster said "We made it great on Nov. 3! Go home!", according to the report. The police officers – many in riot gear – and metal barricades kept the groups apart as they shouted expletives at one another through megaphones. Near Union Station, Trump supporters and counter-protesters fought, and one man was left injured. As per the report, the man, who was wearing an American flag mask, was punched multiple times in the face by at least two people wearing all black. Help was provided by the police and medics.

At Black Lives Matter plaza, a block from the White House, Trump supporters, and counter-protesters had a number of tense confrontations. Liberals chased conservatives from the plaza. Some even tore flags from Trump supporters and screamed at them on megaphones to "get out" of the city. Counter-protesters tore one red Trump flag from a Trump supporter and lit it on fire in the square. In another clash, along white PVC pipe was used by a Trump supporter and it was swung at counter-protesters after someone took his hat. Police increased their presence and used bikes to create a protective line around Trump supporters trying to leave the area.

During night time, a group of several dozen people – many wearing all black – walked through the streets, targeting anyone in Trump attire. A group of Trump supporters were dining at PJ Clarke's, and a firework was launched at them, which exploded near a couple's table as they walked away. A man who was dining picked up a chair and threw it at some journalists. After numerous arrests, the group and police clashed, and police used a chemical agent on the crowd. Many drew graffiti on a truck — a MAGA hat on its dashboard outside The Capitol Hilton and slashed one of its tires. People who got hit by the chemical were crying as others washed out their eyes with water.

On Twitter, Antifa started trending and many were alleging their involvement. A user alleged, “Antifa are burning down America.” Another said, “Crazy how people talk down on BLM & antifa for example attacking trump supporters at peaceful protests but when its the other way around trump supporters stay real quiet & applaud it.” Another claimed, “Although I’m against violence of any kind, honestly  it’s because of Trump that we have Antifa and other extremists groups attacking MAGA supporters. He has divided this nation like never before and put the lives of his supporters at risk every time they are in public smh.” However, the user deleted this tweet later.

One questioned and alleged, “Why are they not defending the Trump supporters getting attacked by antifa in Washington dc?” Another alleged, “Is anyone surprised by the number of videos of Antifa, BLM and Dems attacking Trump supporters in DC? And the lack of media coverage? And the demand for unity we’ll hear from Biden, Pelosi etc?” "I worry that the DC clashes will get worse, people will get seriously hurt or killed, then Trump will se it as an excuse to send in the troops with his new, more compliant DoD leadership team," read another tweet.
