Donald Trump’s biggest nightmares these days have been centered around the developments that are taking place after the presidential election of November 3. On Friday, November 27, Trump got a heavy blow after it was revealed that President-elect Joe Biden is leading by 132 votes in the recount tally at Milwaukee County. This comes after the vote recounting process cost the Trump campaign $3 million as the president's lawyers prepare new legal challenges.

In the recounting process, Biden gained 257 votes and Trump gained 125. As per Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, before the recount, Biden had 317,270 votes in Milwaukee County and Trump had 134,357 which got boosted to 317,527 for Biden and 134,482 for Trump. The boost in votes took place after 450,000 votes were recounted making Biden add a marginal increase in his lead as compared to Republican rival Trump.

Besides the boost in votes for Biden, what’s even more shattering for Donald Trump is that he paid to have a recount in Milwaukee county, which reportedly has a large number of Democrat voters. On November 18, Trump sought a recount of ballots in Dane and Milwaukee counties in the hope to overturn the state election results in his favor. At that time, POTUS’ campaign paid $3 million and filed a petition for the partial recount which was authorized after which the recount took place.

After the recounting, Milwaukee County Clerk George Christenson said that the vote recount showed that elections in the county were held in a “fair, transparent, accurate and secure" manner. He said, “I promised this would be a transparent and fair process, and it was. There was an examination of every ballot by election workers, a meticulous recounting of every ballot that was properly cast, a transparent process that allowed the public to observe, a fair process that allows the aggrieved candidate who sought the recount an opportunity to observe and object to ballots they believe should not be counted." Christenson who is a Democrat, and the three-member Board of Canvassers' lone Republican, Rick Baas, underscored the impartial work that went into the recounting process that made them fair.

Before Milwaukee County results, key battleground states of Georgia, Nevada, and Pennsylvania have already certified their vote tallies that favor Biden after the November 3 presidential race. Meanwhile, the Trump regime is reportedly clearing the way for Democrat leader Biden to take the Oval Office, though it is coming with a few hiccups.

A day before the recounting, Trump has said if the electoral college confirms President-elect Joe Biden’s victory, he would give up power and leave the White House. However, Trump said that it’s “going to be a very hard thing to concede because” he claims “there was massive fraud” again echoing false allegations. His hints to clear the way for Biden comes after the leader has for so long refused to concede to the results of the presidential elections.
