Trump says 'losing is never easy' hours before voting ends, Internet wonders if it's his 'concession speech'

Social media users were convinced that Trump was sharing his concession speech when he said, 'Winning is easy, losing is never easy, not for me it's not,' during an interview

Over the past few weeks, the world had witnessed Donald Trump gunning really hard for a second term as the US President. From hosting multiple rallies to launching attacks against his opponent, Joe Biden, Trump has left no stones unturned. Finally, it's the day of elections, and it is time for him to be prepared to either give out an acceptance speech, in case he wins the elections, or a concession speech, in case he fails to secure the popular vote. 

So, when Trump made a brief stop to address RNC staff in Arlington, Virginia, he was asked by a reporter if he had his acceptance speech and concession speech ready. To which Trump replied, "I'm not thinking about concession speech or acceptance speech yet." He then added, "Winning is easy. Losing is never easy—not for me, it's not." 

Several Twitter users interpreted Trump's diplomatic statement as a sign that the thought of potentially losing the presidential race has finally sunk into him. A user tweeted, "Nananana, nananana hey hey hey good bye. “Winning is easy. Losing is never easy not for me it’s not”. Prophetic. Loser #election2020." Another user wrote, "Trump: “Losing is never easy for me” Translation: I AM GOING TO F*CKING LOSE." "Only a spoiled brat baby says "Winning is easy; Losing is never easy for me." No one is perfect, especially not 45. #DumpTheOrangeTurd," commented a user.

Several users joked about how it was ironic of him to state that losing wasn't easy for him, when he hasn't had the best track record in life. A user pointed, "Let me fix it for Trump: I've had multiple marriages and multiple bankruptcies, losing is easy for me. Winning is never easy, not for me it's not." Another user echoed similar thoughts with, "Trump says losing is never easy for him, which is strange considering his entire life is being a losing loser. #F*ckTrump." "Sounds more like a concession speech @realDonaldTrump just delivered to RNC staffers in Virginia. "Losing is never easy, especially for me." He knows he's on his way to jail. #LockHimUp," expressed another user. "Losing is never easy because it causes inward inflection and painful growth to become better... Unless you lost in 2016 and then you just deny that you lost and blame Russians and #resist and impeach and riot until you get your way..." observed a user.
