The Massachusetts Democrat Senator Elizabeth Warren took the first official step toward running for 2020 presidential elections against President Donald Trump on Monday by launching an exploratory committee. She is the second Democrat after former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julian Castro to launch an exploratory committee to test out her chances of a Democratic nomination in the next elections.
Warren, who is the most high-profile candidate to officially announce that she is running for the presidency, has one of the most progressive voting records in the Senate ever since she joined the chamber in 2013.
